About Me

🇮🇪 **Irish and native English speaker, fully bilingual in English and French**, I offer personalized English lessons adapted to each student's level, needs and goals.

I have spoken English with my Irish father since I was very young and grew up using both English and French in my everyday life. Being bilingual allows me to understand the difficulties French speakers can face when learning English and to explain things clearly in French whenever necessary.

My goal is not only to teach grammar and vocabulary, but to help you **speak English naturally, confidently and comfortably**. We can work on conversation, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, writing, school or university English, interview preparation, travel English, or simply improving your overall fluency.

I believe lessons should be relaxed, engaging and adapted to the individual student. Whether you are a complete beginner or already have a good level of English, I will adapt the lessons to your pace and focus on what will help you improve the most.

**Feel free to contact me and tell me about your goals. I'd be happy to help you become more confident in English! 🇬🇧**

I'm Mathieu, 40 years old, from Paris, France. I'm a full-time professional french teacher. I lived in Shanghai for more than 5 years where I used to teach in french companies and language institutes.
Now, I mainly teach private classes as a freelance, one-to-one. I have a 12-year of teaching experience in China and France, face-to-face and online through Skype or other similar tools. I'm also a teacher in a business school here in Paris. You can check the comments that a few students of mine left here on my profile, to see that I'm a serious and competent teacher.

I'm fluent in English and speak intermediate Chinese Mandarin.

I have all the materials necessary ready for you, self-made PDF, audio files and much more. I always adapt my classes to the student's needs. We can focus on what's most important to you.

I am a French teacher. I have been teaching French, language, and communication since 2012. I speak Arabic, French, Spanish, a little English, and a little Turkish.
I explain my lessons in French, Arabic, or Spanish, depending on your choice.
During the sessions, I explain the course that suits your needs. There is also the option to create an open discussion so that you can speak fluently over time and avoid grammatical gaps.
And at the end of each session, I give "lessons" with "exercises" to do as homework to continue our support and increase your level.

Bring a notebook for this training (or any suitable means) to take notes and keep them.

English, although it is an easier language than some others, can, at times, prove to be complicated.

Bilingual following my childhood spent in England, I offer support from elementary school to high school (and more), whatever your level (basic or not).

Whether it is for a school aid or to better understand English, speak it, review basics that have not been completely acquired, build sentences, write paragraphs, analyze words and use them, improve pronunciation, spelling, translating, or just conversing in English ..., I offer my help.

My services in learning English are quite broad: we will analyze what you are missing and I will adapt the course according to your needs, so that it is no longer a problem.

Currently a third-year engineering student at ESILV after a preparatory class in Mathematics and Physics, I offer private lessons tailored to the needs of each student.
I can tutor middle school and high school students in mathematics, physics, computer science, as well as history, French, philosophy, and Spanish. I also offer advanced courses in mathematics, physics, and computer science.

My teaching method is based on a structured and proven approach, which I developed and refined during the private lessons I gave in preparatory classes.
First session: reading and understanding the lesson, creating a summary sheet, application exercises, then exercises to do for the next session.
Subsequent sessions: quick oral review based on the completed worksheet, detailed correction of exercises and further exploration of key concepts.
This method allows the student to consolidate their foundations, gain rigor and autonomy, while progressing effectively.

Graduated from Sorbonne University and currently a doctoral student at EHESS, I have been teaching and supporting students for several years in the context of academic support and private lessons.

Throughout my experience, I have worked with students with varied profiles, from primary to high school, which allows me to adapt flexibly to the needs and pace of each individual.

I offer personalized support, tailored to each student's level, pace, and goals. My objective is to help students make lasting progress, better understand their lessons, and regain confidence in their schoolwork.

To provide effective support, I begin by precisely identifying the student's difficulties. I then adapt my methods to help them structure their learning, focus on their homework, and better prepare for tests and exams.

Thanks to rigorous and supportive monitoring, students gradually improve their academic results, autonomy and motivation in all general subjects.

I offer English lessons tailored to each student's level, goals, and needs. As an American and native English speaker, I am also bilingual in French, which allows me to easily support French-speaking students and explain any difficulties clearly and accessibly.

The courses can focus on conversation and speaking, reading and listening comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, or even school and university English.

I can also teach science in English, including biology and biochemistry, for students who want to develop their scientific skills while improving their English. This approach is particularly well-suited to students in a bilingual program or those wishing to learn scientific vocabulary in English.

For students who want to improve academically, I can help prepare for tests, exams, oral presentations, and written assignments. For more advanced students, I also offer tutoring in academic English, writing, and communication.

I favor a personalized and interactive approach, with activities tailored to each student's level and objectives. My goal is to enable each student to gradually gain confidence and independence, while developing concrete English skills.

Courses can be offered in person, in a hybrid format or entirely remotely, depending on the student's preferences and needs.

I am a Master's student in Public Business Law at the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. Previously, I obtained a dual French-Spanish baccalaureate and a double Bachelor's degree in Law (European Studies track) from the University of Nantes, which provided me with a strong multidisciplinary background. I therefore offer tutoring in the humanities and social sciences (law, economics and social sciences, languages, history, sociology, history, geography, geography, geopolitics, and political science) to your children and teenagers, in order to support their learning and help them improve.

Drawing on my extensive experience, I approach these lessons with a positive and pedagogical mindset, adapting to your children's needs to best understand their requirements. The goal is to provide exercises (quizzes, essay or commentary topics) or short case studies for subsequent lessons, allowing students to practice the concepts covered together, but above all, to solidify their learning and put it into practice.
I also offer oral preparation courses to promote ease in public speaking and to better manage stress during these exams.
