I am a professional classical and contemporary dancer and have worked at the National Opera House of Warsaw in Poland. I graduated from English National Ballet School before working in Poland and feel very passionate about passing on everything I have gained thus far.

I wish to pass on the appreciation for music, physical mobility and health. Dance is the perfect way to combine all these things. I am prepared to work with all levels. I am eager to work with open minded people that are looking to grow and escape.

About Me

My name is Jordan Bautista and I come from Gibraltar. I moved at a young age to study classical ballet at English National Ballet School. During those four years I grew not only a deeper love for dance but also teaching. Being surrounded by like minded people was a privilege and allowed me to explore so much. After graduating I moved to Poland to work with Polish National Ballet at the National Opera House in Warsaw. There I had the chance to perform in many venues nationally and internationally. Performing to a live orchestra was something I had always dreamed of and being able to perform with such an acclaimed group of musicians was truly a blessing.

As I was surrounded by talented colleagues and ballet staff, I continued my search for more understanding of the human body and its connection to music. All of this time abroad helped me discover my deep passion for teaching and coaching. Passing on my experiences with others is truly a gift and being able to learn from students is just as important to me. It pushed me to start my teaching career earlier than planned. I have been teaching for the last three years internationally as a freelancer for all levels.

I am an open and easy going person who enjoys meeting new people. I look forward to connecting with more like minded people along the way.

Classes, choreography and staging! in person or virtually

Are you going home and want to do something special? Let's do it together, whether it's a dance, a performance, or whatever you want—alone, with your partner, family, bridesmaids, or whoever you want. There are two options: I'll teach you how to dance the genre you're going to dance plus the choreography, or I'll just teach you the choreography. It's up to you.

The cost of creating choreographies depends on their duration (in addition to the cost of the class and/or rehearsal).

📌It doesn't always take two for things to work...
To begin to connect, assimilate and experiment with new KNOWLEDGE, the most IMPORTANT thing is the body, the attitude, perseverance and a great pinch of confidence!
I always like to approach the codes of different dance disciplines, based on structures that work on the physical, rhythmic, and creative aspects.
There is an idea that Tango is difficult to learn, and of course if we approach it with that label, it will be that way. Starting from the main concept of tango, WALKING, something that we all do most of the time, dancing tTANGO is within everyone's reach.🤗
Another very important point is the way to assimilate and understand it 😉😅
❤️‍🔥What will the classes be like, you ask?
I'll tell you a little bit, we are going to develop the structure in the work of weight changes, the step, projection of the walk, the pivot, understanding the kinesphere individually and as a couple translated into the hug, the turns and the spiral torso to understand the momentum in various exercises, the eights so famous in tango, the basic step and universal exit, walks with the concept of lanes and much more from various sequences that familiarize you with the technical needs to be able to perform the steps without leaving aside the dynamics, pulse, accent and compas of the tango. Everything will be raised in the background in a more organic way. It's not just about learning individual steps, and then...what do we do 🧐? It is not the form that should take the leading role, but the way in which you express that form.
We will also let your creative and playful side be part of the process, through a tool that I consider very valuable, which is improvisation 👌 since it allows you to find your own style and recognize your strengths and weaknesses to continue growing in your passion for dance.
With all these tools, entering the world of more complex sequences and why not, creating your own, will be one more step and not an impossible challenge to achieve.🤩
