My purpose as a teacher is to help students tap into their creativity to convey their ideas and to give them all of the tools they need in order to achieve this goal. Because every person is unique and has an individual way of learning and expressing music, I always try to tailor my teaching to fit the needs and interests of each student. However, I believe that there are certain essential skills that every violinist should have, and I work to ensure their development. These skills are used for growth in three different areas: as a violinist, a musician, and a person.

The technique is advanced through finger and articulation exercises and knowledge of scales. For sound, I work with the student on all of its major aspects, including sound quality, dynamics, intonation and, vibrato. And for posture, I work on increasing a student’s body awareness and his or her ability to use the body with naturalness and ease, essential for injury prevention. With the development of these fundamentals, violinists are better able to play their performance repertoire and create music with purposeful expression.

I seek to create a supportive, safe, and enjoyable environment where students can learn, and I question students instead of only providing answers to develop their curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving abilities which will one day enable them to learn how to teach themselves.

About Me

Ukrainian violinist Irene has performed worldwide as both a soloist and chamber musician. Classically trained, she studied at the Odesa National A.V. Nezhdanova Music Academy in Ukraine, and at the University of Central Florida, where she graduated with a Master of Arts in Violin Performance.
Irene has worked with European and American orchestras including the Odessa Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra, Orlando Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra, Brevard Symphony Orchestra, Ocala Symphony Orchestra, Florida Lakes Symphony Orchestra, The Villages Symphony Orchestra, Space Coast Symphony Orchestra, and several others. As a chamber musician, she has toured throughout continental Europe, Canada, and the United States.
A dedicated teacher, Irene currently has her own private studio where she teaches violin lessons to students of any age (beginning as young as age 5 to adults) or level, both in person and virtually. She has a lot of experience teaching beginning violinists, as she was also a teaching assistant at the University of Central Florida where she taught undergraduate violin majors, advanced students as well, along with every level in between.

Hello !

My name is Camille, I'm 26 years old and I grew up in France, where I completed my violin training with soloist Marie Cantagrill. I then obtained my Bachelor's degree at the University of Arts in Graz (Austria), and I also studied for a year at the Academy of Music in Krakow with Professor Wojciech Koprowski.

Currently, I am continuing my studies in violin pedagogy (IGP – instrumental and vocal pedagogy) at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (MDW).

Thanks to my experience with teachers from various countries, I have acquired a lot of knowledge in pedagogy, study techniques, musicality, etc., which I would love to share with you!

For me, it is essential to cultivate the pleasure of playing and to work on technique in the service of music.

My name is Daniela, and I am a cross-over violist from Costa Rica. I moved to the Netherlands in 2020 to pursue my studies at Codarts Conservatory in Rotterdam, where I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Classical Music (Viola). I am currently continuing my journey at Codarts with a Master's degree in Latin Music.

During my time in the Netherlands, I have been part of a wide range of musical projects across different genres — from classical orchestras and chamber music to pop, jazz, and world music collaborations. I've performed with ensembles such as the Jong Metropole and recorded with various pop, jazz, and fusion bands. I am also the bandleader of my own Latin project, La Reunión, and work as a freelance musician with diverse musical groups.

Before moving to the Netherlands, I studied Music Education at the University of Costa Rica and worked for several years as a private teacher. I have experience teaching violin and viola to both children and adults.

You can spend years learning one new piece after another and still remain at roughly the same level: reading note by note, struggling to see the connections within the music, and feeling helpless without a teacher. The repertoire changes, while the quality of playing, musical thinking and independence change very little.

I do not believe this should be the normal outcome of piano lessons.

The most valuable part of playing the piano is the feeling of genuinely owning the music: being able to enter its world, experience it fully and bring your own musical hearing to life at the instrument. My role as a teacher is to make the path from the score to that state as direct and natural as possible.

I teach music as a system and a language. Students learn to see the musical logic behind the notation: to understand harmony and form, follow the direction of a phrase, recognise style and character, and gradually become more fluent and independent musicians.

My teaching is rooted in the Russian academic piano tradition, but the repertoire can be classical, modern, film, anime or jazz-oriented. What matters is that the work remains serious, attentive and musically meaningful.

I work with motivated teenagers and adults, from beginners to advanced players.

With beginners, I aim to make score reading fluent and natural as early as possible while developing an understanding of how music works from the inside.

If a student already plays but feels stuck, I identify what is actually limiting further progress. Difficulties that seem separate are often connected, and I work with the underlying cause rather than treating each symptom in isolation.

After a long break, I help bring existing knowledge and skills back into active use, identify the genuine gaps and organise what remains into a working system from which the student can move forward.

With advanced students, the work can include mental practice and principles from Stanislavski’s system.

I am a concert pianist and piano educator with 23 years of teaching experience, from private work with students of different levels to university-level teaching at the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music.

I graduated with honours from the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music and later completed postgraduate studies there. For more than twenty years I performed in Russia and internationally across Europe, Asia and South America.

I received first prizes at the Salieri–Zinetti International Chamber Music Competition in Italy in 2010 and the Max Reger Chamber Music Competition in Germany in 2011, and recorded two albums for the Melodiya label.
