My main goals as a teacher are to help my students improve their technical skill, mature their musical ideas and learn effective practice methods.

The outline of my typical lesson consists of scales, a study and a piece. This creates a solid technical foundation while also expanding the students repertoire. Depending on the student’s goals, I can also incorporate aural/ sight reading practice into the lesson to move onto the ABRSM or Trinity syllabus to prepare for graded exams.

About Me

I first picked up the violin at age 5 and I have since dedicated my life to learning the instrument. I am currently a scholarship student at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama where I am building my professional career. I have given recitals internationally, including in England, France, Israel, Japan and New Zealand and I have gone on tour to Hong Kong with a piano quartet.

I also enjoy being a teacher and I have gotten to enjoy being one for approximately 5 years now. My experience includes private teaching, numerous projects with primary schools to introduce music to young children and coaching chamber groups.

My name is Maria and I am a professional Violinist. My second instrument is Piano. I have done my music education in Bulgaria and after that I went to Belgium to complete my Master 's degree. Teaching since 2008 I have a good experience working with children and adults . I am familiar with ABRSM Grade system. My teaching process is based on the classical methodical rules, but I am teaching other musical styles as well, such as folk, basic jazz or improvisation (for advanced students). I believe that music is a wonderful language, we just need the right tools and knowledge to be able to read it, my role is to provide them so you can learn, enjoy and improve your skills. VIOLIN AND/OR MUSIC THEORY LESSONS

When I begin teaching an individual, I make sure that I inspire them and teach them the value and beauty of music. I am very thorough about teaching technique properly so that it will last and be an asset in one's musical future, but I still like to keep my students on their toes and excited about actually making music and adding life to the notes they draw out of their instruments. Each individual is different and has different goals they wish to achieve with their playing, thus, for me it is very important to establish a connection with my students and cater each lesson to their specific needs and learning style.

I have had the pleasure of sharing my love of music with musicians of all ages ever since I began teaching the violin in 2014. I teach both young and mature students, focusing my energy on private lessons. I have also had the opportunity to work with groups of young children at summer programs in collaboration with the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony.

Hello! I am a warm, encouraging and adaptable musician and am about to graduate from the Royal Academy of Music. I am an experienced teacher and have a DBS certificate. This class is an opportunity to learn violin/ viola or receive tutoring in music theory (up to Grade 8) from an enthusiastic tutor who is passionate about music education. I have a positive approach and take into account the individuals needs and personality. I believe in a whole person approach to musical education and ensuring the student is always comfortable and confident when playing and performing.

She was the baroque strings coach at the inaugural edition of the Novi Sad Baroque Academy, where she presented a mixture of teaching methods incorporated with historically informed performance practice. I love to teach violin thorugh an enjoyable process so that students wont lose interest and fun in playing the violin, which is an important motivation for any longevity. Also, I personally love the fundamental theory of violin mechanism and like to teach in an efficient manner, making sure the students understand what they are doing and can repeat them during practice. This can guarantee them to progress efficiently even on their own.

I am a versatile, enthusiastic and dedicated violin teacher, taking on students of all levels and ages from beginner to highly advanced. Being an internationally performing violinist, with a masters degree from both the Guildhall School of Music & Drama and the Royal Conservatoire of Antwerp, I have a lot of knowledge and experience that I’ve been sharing with students over the past years and that I’d love to share with more!

Hi, I’m Eleazar, and I’m here to help you discover (or rediscover) the art of playing the violin. My course focuses on building strong foundational skills and mastering the basics, essential for anyone starting out or looking to solidify their technique.

My goal is to help you build the strong technical foundations that lead to freedom and joy in playing the violin while keeping the learning process fun and engaging. Whether you’re a beginner or an intermediate player, my lessons are designed to guide you through mastering the basics so that you can ultimately play with confidence and ease.

What makes my teaching unique?
🎻 A Fresh Perspective on Violin Technique
I had the privilege of studying with world-renowned violinist Zakhar Bron, and at the age of 21, I had to completely rework my violin technique. Because I learned it later in life, I can break down the essentials and explain them in a way that’s easy to understand—something most violinists, who learned their technique as young children, often struggle to do. Together, we’ll build the foundations that will allow you to play freely, rather than feeling restricted by technique.

I’m a native French speaker and fluent in both Spanish and English. You can choose the language you’re most comfortable with, so we can focus entirely on making progress with your playing.

📍 Flexible Lessons in London or Online
I offer lessons in person here in London, but I’m also available online if that suits your schedule better. My goal is to make violin lessons accessible, convenient, and enjoyable for everyone.
