I started taking violin lessons at the age of 7. After years of training, I am currently continuing my violin studies at Utrecht Conservatory. I have also attended music theory classes for 6 years because it is very useful to have some knowledge of it when playing any instrument. If you would like, I would be more than happy to share some knowledge of music theory along with the violin lessons. Lessons are private and not in groups.

Hi everyone! I am a viola player from Belarus. I completeness my bachelor degree at the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague and currently doing my masters in HKU Utrechts Conservatorium. As well as playing viola, I have a lot of knowledge about music theory, as it was accompanying me through my entire career. I would be very happy to share my knowledge with music enthusiasts of all ages and levels. Let’s create music together!

There are two grand pianos at the location in Den Haag. For children, it is important to develop basic musical skills through Singing, Rythmique, and Ear training besides piano playing. I use one technical exercise book, the main textbook, and a theory book. Through these 3 books, students learn different aspects of music and they naturally get ready for exams and grades. After acquiring basic skills, students study Harmony and Chord exercises too. These are useful for playing pops and jazz, and they obtain a deeper understanding of classical pieces too. Private Piano lesson, from age 4 and above. Children can start the lesson after being able to read the numbers from 1 to 5 and the alphabet from A to G. Advanced students who want to prepare for competitions, auditions, ABRSM, GCSE, IB exams, or the entrance exam of the conservatory. The concert is held annually together with students of flute, violin, and composition teachers. For the ages 1-7 years, I have group Rhythmique lessons.

Hi! I'm a French violinist currently in my 4th year of a classical violin Bachelor at the Royal Conservatory of the Hague, and I hold a DEM (Diplôme d'Études Musicales) from the CRR de Paris (Regional Paris conservatory) where I studied with Florin Szigeti. I’ve had the opportunity to participate in masterclasses with Josef Spacek, Pavel Vernikov, Olivier Charlier, Igor Volochine, Marianne Piketty, and I love sharing everything I’ve learned from them through my own teaching. I have experience with Orchestra and chamber music as well. I had the pleasure of participating in a side by side project with the Orchestre Philarmonique de Radio France and play in various prestigious settings. Since then I have been working as a concert violinist, chamber musician (playing in small groups and ensembles) and as a freelancer in orchestras throughout the Netherlands. I am captain of the Doelen Ensemble in Rotterdam and a much sought-after collaboration partner for recording studios, dancers, composers of new and film music and theater makers. As a teacher I have experience in private education, special conservatory preparation and competition training, as well as as a guest teacher at the Brno Conservatory (Czech Republic). I play both classical acoustic violin and electric violin. In my classes I offer both traditional classical music training (technique and classical music pieces) based on my 20 years of work and study with leading teachers and violin virtuosos (the best of the Czech, American and Russian schools of technique), as well as lessons for those who only have enough want to learn to play and improvise with their favorite songs by their favorite singer. We will use the violin in all musical genres and base our curricula on your wishes, dreams and ambitions, always designing your tailor-made learning path together and adapting if necessary. In these lessons, you’ll learn to play the violin with solid technique and body awareness. I teach kids and adults (beginner to intermediate), blending violin and music training with the Alexander Technique principles to help you move freely, play with ease, and enjoy every note. Anything that is part of a fundamental understanding of music, e.g. music theory, solfège, rhythm and piano will be taught. For me it is very important that the lessons is specifically made for the students regarding content and length. If asked violin and ballett can be taught as well. In that way the necessary aspects of a well rounded musician can be built up.

Highly dedicated and passionate teacher. Age does not matter when it comes to learning, just enjoying it. Lessons for beginners to more advanced students. Always trying to keep a creative environment where the students can express themselves in all aspects. I believe that it is necessary to be constant. The ideal would be one hour or hour and a half a week, but that depends on the student availability. I would provide a personal adaptation. I like playing games, singing and coming up to most creative solutions for learning fast inside of a save space for questions and imagination of the student. It is very important to motivate the students regarding to their music tastes. I consider myself an involved and motivated musician. I am constantly trying to learn new styles and enjoy so much doing it. At the moment I am studying my second bachelor degree in music, specifically in Early Music. I am very flexible with schedules for lessons so coming to a common point should not be very difficult.

My violin classes are open to people of all ages and levels. I am currently doing a jazz master at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, after obtaining my classical bachelor at the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague. I have been playing cello for 19 years. Over the years I played in various settings: chamber music (small ensembles like trios, quartet), bands (new music), solo and orchestras such as the Nationaal Jeugdorkest and Jong Metropole (national youth jazz orchestra). I love to play classical music but also some jazz, funk or pop! I like to play with people, create music together, improvise... And I hope this is something I can also pass on to my students!
