Learning and playing string instruments can be incredibly fun and fulfilling, but it is not an easy process, and it requires discipline, structure and proper guidance. I offer an experience tailored to each student's specific needs and learning style, and I focus in depth on a variety of topics that I consider to be fundamental to achieving a high level of performance and interpretation on violin and viola; such as basic music theory, music history, a well-rounded and versatile technique, and collaborative music-making.
My lessons are suitable for beginners and advanced students of all ages. I rely on a variety of teaching materials; some that are intended for children, others that are made for adult learners, pedagogues and performers.
