Violin lessons with a professional violinist | high quality | all levels | Classical & Contemporary | EN/DE/PL

Violin lessons with a professional violinist | high quality | all levels | Classical & Contemporary | EN/DE/PL

I am a professional violinist and trained violin teacher, and I love sharing my experience and passion for music with my students. I teach violin to children and adults of all levels - from complete beginners to advanced students preparing for auditions, competitions or exams! I hold two Master’s degrees, from Switzerland and Poland, where I studied with professors such as Bartłomiej Nizioł, Jonian Ilias Kadesha and Mariusz Patyra. I also completed an Erasmus exchange at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, where I had the opportunity to study with Philippe Graffin. I am very happy to share the knowledge and experience I have gained through many years of studying, performing and teaching, and to help my students discover their own way of enjoying and expressing themselves through the violin. ⭐ What can we work on? • healthy and solid violin technique; • sound, intonation and musical expression; • interpretation and repertoire; • confidence and freedom while playing; • preparation for auditions, competitions and exams; • improvisation and creativity; • contemporary music and extended techniques; • learning how to listen, play together and develop your own musical sensitivity. I believe that learning the violin should be both focused and enjoyable. My lessons are based on a friendly and supportive atmosphere where you can ask questions, experiment, make mistakes and gradually become more confident with the instrument. I take the work seriously, but I also want my students to have fun and actually enjoy coming to their lessons! ⭐ Who are the lessons for? • children from around 6 years old - with a playful but focused approach; • beginners of any age who would like to discover the violin and music; • school students looking for extra support; • intermediate and advanced students who want to develop their technique, musicality and interpretation; • musicians preparing for auditions, competitions or exams. I think the violin is an amazing instrument because it can teach us much more than just how to play music. It develops patience, concentration, listening skills and creativity, while giving us a way to express ourselves and connect with other people. And there is something really special about learning to create a sound with your own hands and gradually making it your own. Each lesson is adapted to the student's level, needs and goals. I teach in English, German and Polish.

MUSIC, Staff Notation, Theory, Practical. How to play Songs independently without music tutorials.

MUSIC, Staff Notation, Theory, Practical. How to play Songs independently without music tutorials.

. Staff Notation Staff notation (or stave notation) is the standard visual language of Western music, using a grid of five horizontal lines and four spaces to communicate pitch and duration. Pitch is mapped vertically—the higher a note sits on the staff, the higher its frequency—while time and rhythm progress horizontally from left to right. 2. Ear Training (Aural Skills) Ear training is the systematic practice of translating what you hear into musical understanding, and vice versa. It bridges the gap between abstract music theory and instinctual playing, training the brain to decode pitch, harmony, and rhythm in real time. Interval Recognition: Identifying the exact distance between two consecutive or simultaneous pitches (e.g., recognizing a Perfect 5th vs. a Minor 3rd). Harmonic Identification: Distinguishing chord qualities (major, minor, diminished, augmented, 7ths) and detecting chord progressions (I\text{–}IV\text{–}V\text{–}I). Transcription & Dictation: Listening to a live or recorded melody and rhythmically and melodically writing it down without touching an instrument. 3. Trinity College London Certificate A Trinity College London music certificate is an internationally recognized, accredited qualification certifying technical proficiency, musicianship, and performance standards across classical, jazz, and rock & pop disciplines. Graded Structure: Spans from Initial through Grades 1–8, followed by professional diplomas (ATCL, LTCL, and FTCL). Evaluation Components: Candidates are assessed on prepared repertoire pieces, technical exercises (scales, arpeggios, and studies), and supporting tests such as sight-reading, aural skills, or improvisation. Global Standing: Regulated by Ofqual in the UK, Trinity grades are benchmarked against international qualification frameworks. Passing Grades 6–8 earns UCAS points, aiding university entrance in the UK and conservatory admissions worldwide.

Flute or piccolo initiation or advanced lessons for childrens and adults

Flute or piccolo initiation or advanced lessons for childrens and adults

Hello! My name is Irene, and I am a professional flautist and flute teacher. I am currently studying at the Royal Conservatoire of Brussels, while also working as an academist with the Belgian National Orchestra and La Monnaie. I am a Yamaha Young Artist and have received several prizes in music competitions. Music has always been a big part of my life. My father is a trumpet teacher, so I grew up surrounded by music and teaching. I have been giving lessons to children and young people for around eight years, both during summer music courses and through private lessons. I believe that the best way to learn is through play and enjoyment. My lessons are adapted to each student’s age, level and personality, and I like to combine music with different disciplines and creative activities, such as mindfulness, movement and even mathematics. This helps students develop their concentration, coordination, creativity and confidence while having fun. I offer lessons in flute, piccolo and music theory. Whether you are just starting, preparing for an audition or simply want to play music for fun, we will work on technique and musicality in a relaxed and motivating atmosphere. I live in Mechelen and can travel to nearby locations. Online lessons are also available. I look forward to meeting you and making music together!

I am a cheerful, patient, smiling and very sociable person, and I place great importance on the pleasure of playing and sharing music. Orchestra Prep for Amateur Violinists — Play Your Part with Confidence

Orchestra Coaching for Amateur Violinists Joining an amateur orchestra is one of the most rewarding things you can do as a violinist but it also asks for skills that solo practice doesn't always prepare you for. In these lessons, I help you feel confident, secure, and comfortable in your section, whether you're about to audition, just joined, or want to keep up with a demanding programme. What we'll work on: Learning your parts efficiently — smart practice strategies to master the notes faster Counting, rhythm, and staying locked in with the beat Following the conductor and reacting to cues Tuning and blending within your section Bowings, section markings, and orchestral conventions Sight-reading and reading ahead Managing tricky passages, fast runs, and high positions Nerves and audition preparation Who it's for: Amateur and returning violinists who play in — or want to join — an orchestra or larger ensemble. Whether you're preparing for an audition, tackling a specific piece from your season, or simply want to hold your own more confidently in rehearsals, we'll focus on exactly what you need. Why me: I'm an active orchestral violinist and concertmaster with the Oosterhouts Symfonie Orkest, so I can give you first-hand, practical guidance on what really happens in the rehearsal room — and how to walk in prepared. Bring your orchestra music and we'll tackle it together. Lessons available in English, Dutch, or Portuguese. Book a trial lesson and let's get your parts ready!
