Since 2014, I am teaching students who are living in different parts of the world via Zoom/Skype/Meet – in English, French, Farsi and Turkish languages, and it is working very well. On the other hand, you can send me a recording of you playing the pieces and exercises before the beginning of our Zoom/Skype/Meet session or play live on Zoom/Skype/Meet. Then we will be able to discuss the ways that you can improve technically and musically, and find the best ways that work for you. I teach Classical, Flamenco and Acoustic Guitars, and I am open to all kind of musical styles. I have a Licentiate Diploma in Teaching Classical Guitar from the University of West London (UWL’s highest teaching qualification). I am a passionate teacher, and enjoy working with a wide age range (currently from 5 to 60) and a variety of levels (from beginner to advanced). I don’t believe in “one size fits all” methods, so my lessons are tailor-made to help students with different backgrounds, goals, and interests improve faster. Importantly, I use graded curriculum with students. This method helps the students to learn the instrument in a systematic way. This way, they can benefit from a faster learning pace and enjoy the sense of progress, and ultimately, become better musicians. Hello, I'm Jungmi, a professional jazz pianist and composer. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Jazz Piano and a degree in Jazz Composition from the Maastricht Conservatory. As the leader of the Little Big Jazz Orchestra, which I founded in 2022, I explore rich emotional landscapes through expressive melodies, intricate harmonies, and unique orchestrations. My orchestra has received recognition, including a nomination for the Maastricht Jazz Awards, the Audience Award, and performances at festivals such as Jazz Out Fest and Make It Jazz Festival in Tilburg.
