I am currently pursuing my master’s degree in classical singing at the Royal Conservatoire of Antwerp and am more than willing to help with either of my mother tongue or my beloved German. I have a bachelor’s degree in classical singing, completed in July of 2022. I spent my childhood in Bulgaria and emigrated to the United States at age 10, where I obtained my high school degree. I then moved to Germany and completed my bachelor’s degree, during which I worked multiple jobs, including tutoring in English and German. I can help with school lessons, teach grammar and vocabulary, and can also work on pronunciation and communication skills. I love the German and American culture and am very proud of my Bulgarian heritage. I look forward to helping you with any of those languages!

Csilla, the founder of CL, is a Zurich native. Having grown up with multiple languages, she is proficient in five languages. As a child of immigrant parents from Hungary, she has always had an intense passion for languages and diverse cultures. She moved to the United States as a young adult and has been living there for 15 years. Today, Csilla lives between Zurich and New York. She has graduated with a BA in Childhood Education and English Literature from the City University of New York and an MA in Literary Studies from the University of Zurich. Csilla has taught at several public, private, international, and German schools in New York and is currently teaching at Montessori in Zurich. Her performing arts background infused with her academic excellence make her classes unique. She believes in a more progressive way of language learning where the experience of different art forms and especially each of her student's interests are of great importance. Her boundless passion for teaching, her energy, creativity, dedication and years of professional experience make Csilla a very different kind of a teacher, one you have never encountered before!

Teaching the language, starting from the letters and how to pronounce them, to the rules of the German language, constructing sentences smoothly, and answering all the questions posed by the student, in addition to giving an idea of Germany and teaching it to those wishing to travel to it.
