Hello, I would like to share my knowledge and my passion for the French language with your child. Currently studying Modern Letters at Paul Valéry University in Montpellier, I support primary, middle and high school students in their studies. I work on all subjects from CP to CM2 and in French, from Sixth to Terminale. I also give lessons to people who want to learn French and whose mother tongue is not. Aware that the pedagogy must adapt to the student, I strive to develop the taste for literature of my learners while promoting their analytical and language skills. In this sense, my experience as a coach and therapist allows me to demonstrate pedagogy while adapting to everyone's needs. See you soon

I show you how to understand and use French, mostly by showing you how the language works and how to reason in French. We use interactive content and also books, materials that I and other French teachers have created. Mostly I make your learning relevant to your life and experience and I try to help you understand the ideas behind the French language and how to use it. Over the past 25 + years my methods have helped students improve quickly or over time to get results like 90 % and more. Most students like the way that I work and it has been very effective.

As your teacher, my goal is to share with you this legacy dating back almost 5 centuries. And since it's my role to interest you, it's up to me to adapt to your level, by organizing discussion sessions that will best meet your expectations. This is why, to help you master the language of Molière, we will use supports of your choice (song, book, film, press clippings, etc.) and with the theme that interests you. Thus, these extracts will become fun supports for your learning. Because you will first explain what you understood and then we will develop the points of grammar and syntax. But the majority of our efforts will focus on what's most important: the conversation. Because the more vocabulary you have, the better you will be able to express yourself. And the best way to expand your lexical field is to learn new words by practicing them.

I am a Linguist, specialised in French and a native French and Italian speaker. In previous years I have worked as second in charge and Head of French in private preparatory schools in Chelsea, London. Over the years I have found that the key with learning a foreign language is to build students' confidence. Once a student is confident about their progress and learning, then they will start taking risks, accept errors and thus progress is even more noticeable. I believe in inspiring and supporting learners. I provide fun and lively lessons and offer plenty of encouragement for students to enjoy learning and to desire to do their best. I create a flexible, one-to-one service so that we create a mode and a pace of learning that suits the student, geared to their ultimate goal. I am happy to work following the student's curriculum or to provide an alternative approach that puts extra fun back into learning. I am happy to use students' materials, to adapt them or to use my own. I like using different learning tools with students but am happy to use worksheets, too, if that is what students would like. I see myself as part of the student-parent-school team and communicate easily and frequently with parents over the progress of their child.

Parlez-vous français? Is the most popular sentence I heard when I speak about my origin. Most of the time it ends with "I've learned french but I forgot" or "it is hard". Most of the time, people don't know that it is not hard, it is practicing and repeating. Everybody wants to speak French but How? My methodology is simple, speaking and reading. In my course, you will learn french: the grammar, the vocabulary but as well as the culture which is far away from what we know from the US and Grand Britain. In the end, it will be easy for you to speak with a French person, in the street of Paris, but I will give you enough tools to have good conversations in French.

I am a native speaker and I have 10 years of experience. I did my PGCE course at King's college in London. I can teach any level. Being French native and fluent in English and Spanish thanks to trips and positions held abroad, I help you improve your French by giving personalized lessons according to your level and your needs. Lots of oral comprehension and discussions are on the program. I like to show that learning a language can be fun, and not a puzzle. The difficulties will be worked on one by one, in order to progress quickly.
