About Me

Hello,
I hope to become a teacher in the future but for the moment I am still a student.
I am one of those people who assumes that if the student does not understand it is because it is I who have not explained well enough.
I am one of those people who thinks that everyone can succeed in their studies, but sometimes some need to be guided a little.
I am one of those people who listen before speaking: I listen to better respond to a need or a lack of understanding, it doesn't matter, that's how we move forward.

I am passionate about literature (also sewing), but especially English and Anglo-Saxon culture, more particularly British culture, I have just returned from a year in London where I was an assistant in a college and young AU pair.

I am back in France for my studies, I would like to give lessons to supplement my income while doing a rewarding and rewarding job.

Do not hesitate to come and discuss what you are looking for, I would be delighted to tell you more about me but especially to get to know you.

French (understand the literature which is sometimes scary - grammar and other theoretical subjects - improve)

37 C$ /h

I read a lot a lot, not necessarily Victor Hugo but sometimes also Young Adult. I think there is no such thing as someone who doesn't like to read this, for me it's just about stumbling upon the right book.

I graduated from the Modern Letters (mention Bien) degree from the Sorbonne Nouvelle where I was able to discover and tame the classics. I hope to help those who are afraid or just looking to gain confidence in certain areas.
I can help with homework, decipher a text or an exercise together, for example, or even briefly prepare a few exercises to finally overcome a difficulty, together step by step.
Do not hesitate to contact me I would be delighted to meet you, you will also have the opportunity to ask me more questions and we can discuss your expectations.

Hello !
I am passionate about the English language and culture, I am coming back from a year in London and planning to settle there!
I would like to become a teacher, but for the moment I am a master's student and private lessons seem to me to be an accommodating and pleasant way to put butter in the spinach.

I graduated in Literature with honors with English as an option, I read and speak English fluently (almost fluently), I would be happy to meet with you to discuss your expectations and your work methodology.

French teacher for foreigners and native French speaker, with a Master's degree in French as a Foreign Language and 21 years of experience teaching in private schools (Montpellier, Lyon, Minneapolis, Salvador da Bahia, Lisbon, Berlin, Barcelona, Brussels). I offer private lessons in: grammar, syntax, vocabulary, speaking and writing, phonetics, conversation, current events, DELF and DALF exam preparation, etc. I can also provide knowledge of Francophone literature, the humanities, theater, and other arts. Speaking English, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese also allows me to better understand students' difficulties.

My courses are based on listening to learners' needs, using effective teaching methods, and employing a dynamic approach and immersion in the French language! Of course, learners are expected to do some independent work, without using AI or any other application, in order to learn more effectively, practice, and exercise their own brainpower! And there's no age limit to learning!
Take the step and learn or improve your French enthusiastically with me!

Holder of a Master's degree in Letters and endowed with a solid experience in private lessons, I provide French lessons for students wishing to:
- consolidate their bases in grammar, spelling
- improve their language skills (allophone students)
- improve their speaking skills (conversation classes)
-profect the written expression
- prepare for ECR exams
- prepare for the written examinations at the end of the studies (maturity, certificate of completion)
- help with the writing of works of maturity (or other works of end of studies), of dissertation
- work on argumentative texts
- acquire a method to analyze literary texts
- learn how to perform bibliographic research

The course material is a Google Docs document that I create in which my explanations, possible links, exercises appear. By reading it regularly, progress will be faster. It can also be used in addition to other documents (files printed by school teachers and/or books) and has many advantages: automatic updating, downloadable on tablets and smartphones, simultaneous monitoring of what is writing.

For help with writing:

The objective is above all to acquire effective tools. The student will thus be able to learn to structure his ideas, argue coherently (and convincingly) and enrich his vocabulary. It is essential for me to have written work from the student between each lesson.

For analyzes of oral literary texts:

In order to optimize the time available (and to put ourselves in conditions closest to oral exams), we choose together an extract from a work that the student will have previously prepared before the lesson. This would take around 20 minutes at most, and ideally just a little before the meeting time. If necessary, I have the habit of taking a paragraph at random which would serve as a basis for analyzing a passage.

For the corrections of end of studies work:

so that the meeting with the student is at the most profitable, I ask him to send me his writings before the meeting.

Apart from my presence with the student, any course involves a preparation time before and after the lesson, including the work that I correct. My goal is to design an individualized course, so I take the time to write detailed comments on corrected work or tips to ensure maximum success for everyone.

For example, an editorial correction can easily be the subject of a detailed commentary of 4 typewritten pages.

For adults (FLE):

In order to optimally prepare the first ones, I take the initiative to inform myself in advance of their objectives / expectations. Whether to practice speaking in everyday life, the professional world or to practice oral presentations, I prepare either PPT or technical sheets in advance that I send by mail ( after booking on the website).

The other alternative is to make a PV of the course that I send (or that I print). Giving importance to keeping a written record on the one hand to better memorize the topics covered, on the other hand to better assimilate the spelling.

Of a general nature, a concrete situation that responds to the learner's needs is the starting point. From this situation, I address the essential grammatical points.

I am a trained French teacher with a degree in linguistics. I have been teaching since 2012 and I support candidates in improving their French and preparing for official exams.

The preparation is fully tailored to your level, the date of your exam and the skills you need to strengthen.

We are working on the different challenges:
- listening comprehension;
- understanding of written texts;
- written production;
- oral production.

The goal is not only to improve your French, but also to understand what examiners expect and to learn how to respond effectively to exam instructions.

Depending on your needs, we can work on methodology, organization of ideas, argumentation, grammar, vocabulary, time management and correction of written or oral productions.

Exercises and practice topics may be offered between lessons to track your progress and identify areas that require more work.

As the exam approaches, we can also carry out simulations under conditions close to the real test, particularly for oral production.

Before we begin, simply tell me the diploma and level you are preparing for, the scheduled date of the exam, and the difficulties you wish to work on as a priority.

I offer you a new learning experience.

To the uninitiated, a grammar book seems to be written in another language because the meaning of the words is incomprehensible. In a down-to-earth way, I'll translate the grammar into familiar words. With my tailor-made teaching you will accelerate your learning while having a positive mindset.

You can book a complete course with regular sessions or individual lessons to overcome a specific problem, such as pronunciation or a particular point in grammar.

Learning a foreign language is not a linear process that consists of memorising a list of words, and speaking a foreign language is not an oral translation exercise.

There are two types of approaches to acquiring knowledge:

When asked what year follows 1999, you can immediately answer 2000 without having to think for a long time and, above all, without having memorised each number individually, starting with 1, 2, 3 ... You know that numbers are formed according to a certain pattern. With only ten digits, you can form an infinite number of numbers and always know which number comes next.

When it comes to the alphabet, words and sentences, it's more or less the same, but school pedagogy, school textbooks and regular lessons still follow the rote learning approach. In the lessons I propose, you will learn to use patterns because this is more efficient and faster.

Learning is easy, but unlearning bad habits is extremely difficult. This makes it all the more important to learn the right reflexes as early as possible.

My offer is aimed at both teenagers and adults who want to acquire a solid foundation of the Latin language without the time-consuming diversions of absurd school methods.

I offer individual or group lessons for Latin. The methods are based on cognitive science and, in particular, comparative linguistics. My flexible programme can be tailored to your individual needs.

What is particularly important to me:

motivating my students and help them establish a learning rhythm;
encouraging their creativity;
helping them become more familiar with the language;
teaching them the letters and their sounds;
strengthening their memory by training their phonological loop;
teaching sentence building plans instead of memorising sentences;
explaining how language works so that my students can become independent as quickly as possible.

I look forward to meeting you.
