My approach emphasizes teaching individuals how to play music by ear. This method is essential for those who truly wish to comprehend music at the same level as their native language. With this approach, reading music is not necessary, although having a basic understanding of notation can significantly help in developing musical comprehension and repertoire. Once you have become acquainted with your instrument and have grasped the fundamentals of music theory, we will proceed by selecting songs to learn in a rhythmic style. Emphasis will be placed on mastering chords and rhythm initially, with additional details being incorporated at a later stage. The selection of songs can either be based on your personal preferences or my suggestions, tailored to suit the student's requirements. Along the way, I will introduce proper technique, exercises, listening skills, and musical vocabulary in a natural progression, grounded in your favorite music.
