Writing is an individual and vulnerable process. When we creatively write, we are telling stories, and the effectiveness of each sentence affects how readers interpret our stories and us as writers. I know better than anyone how vulnerable it can be to share your writing. I also have an intimate understanding of the technical writing skills required to keep readers engaged and to get published. I am a tutor with 7+ years of experience teaching at a variety of levels from primary school to GCSE level. I teach English Language, English Literature, ESOL (English for speakers of other languages), Maths, and Creative Writing. I have taught students both in person and remotely, planning lessons using virtual presentations, activities and resources both in the UK and abroad. I provide feedback after every lesson and detailed progress reports every six months for each student. I primarily offer online lessons as I have found this works well for me and my students, but in some cases I do teach face-to-face depending on location and availability within London.
