Hello, my name is Virgílio. I am a Brazilian lyric tenor, pianist and music teacher specializing in Brazilian vocal repertoire and I work as a vocal coach for singers interested in Brazilian music. Brazilian music has unique rhythmic and expressive qualities, and learning it with a native Brazilian teacher helps singers capture the natural phrasing and pronunciation of the language. Many singers around the world love Brazilian songs but find it difficult to sing them with natural pronunciation and musical phrasing. In these lessons, I help students develop vocal technique while learning how to interpret Brazilian repertoire such as Bossa Nova and MPB.
