I am a professional opera singer working regularly in the UK and across Europe. I'm a positive and caring vocal coach, working hard to help you get the most out of your voice. Together we will overcome blocks such as stage fright / issues with your range / vocal flexibility, to help you find your authentic voice and a way of singing that feels good, healthy, and joyful! Singing lessons are typically one hour long; during that time we will work on posture, breathing and vocal technique in order to make singing feel easy. If you choose, I can also coach you on acting through song, and help with pronunciation and translation if you are singing in French, Italian or German. I can help you to prepare for music exams, drama school / music college auditions or professional auditions, or simply singing for pleasure. I look forward to working with you.

I structure my lessons in 25 minutes of vocal exercises to warm up your voice, work on your tone and placement all across your range and help you expand it by building a healthy vocal technique that allows you to have a free connected tone. And then 25 mins to work on any song of your choice to build a strong confidence, help you discover the authentic tone and value of your voice, and help you find your sound and style :)

My name is Candelaria, I am a lyrical singer, born in Buenos Aires, Argentina with more than 10 years of experience in the musical field and approximately 5 years of teaching experience, both in institutions and giving private classes to people of all ages, nationalities and levels in Spanish and English. I am currently writing my final thesis for the Bachelor of Musical Arts with a Singing orientation at the National University of the Arts, so I am one step away from graduating from the degree. In my classes I will help you develop your voice and your musicality by discovering the possibilities that our own instrument has by using the body as a whole to sing; always working from correct air management and healthy emission, so that you can sing and project without forcing. We will also work on tuning issues from auditory training if necessary and with gestures; We will also explore our instrument on a theoretical level but also through various exercises that will help you identify the muscles involved in the phonation process. My main objective is that my students can feel more and more comfortable and loose when it comes to transmitting and singing the repertoire they want by becoming more and more aware of how to do it. Billy Joel said, "I think music in itself is healing. It's an explosive expression of humanity. It's something we are all touched by. No matter what culture we're from, everyone loves music." This, too, is something I believe in, and I wish to share my own love of music with prospective students. I offer violin, voice, and piano lessons to students of all ages. Lessons range from 30 to 60 minutes, depending on student's level. I believe in meeting students where they are at, so we will work together to find goals and objectives that suit you. (Or, if you have no goals and simply want to make some noise, that's good too!) I hope to inspire students to find their own voices and delve into their creativity.

The lesson is completely tailored to you! What attracts you to music and which styles do you like to listen to? Together we will investigate where your passion lies and from there we will continue to work on your piano playing / singing. I work in different styles of music (classical and pop) and often combine the way of studying something through notation or by ear. I may recommend a particular book to use or I may send you parts to work on yourself outside of our lessons. If you want to know more about music theory and work on it, you have also come to the right place. I already apply this theory during piano lessons and singing lessons, but you can also follow it separately as a lesson. I studied music teaching at the conservatory and have completed my studies at the teacher training college. In this way, I apply my pedagogical qualities when teaching lessons.
