Hello, My name is Suyeon and I'm a professional concert violinist who has a bachelors and masters degree from the Juilliard School as well as an artist diploma/konzertexamen from Hans Eisler in Berlin. I studied under Itzhak Perlman since the age of 16 and under Don Weilerstein since the age of 15. For a time, I traveled the world to play concerts and recently I got married And have decided to slow down a bit. I have recently moved to Geneva for my husband and would love to teach. I have taught quite a bit in New York (all ages and all levels), many of those students were directly sent to me from Itzhak Perlman. I live in nyon but can be mobile. My fee is 100 an hour but can be negotiated. I am fluent in Korean and English, and French is proficient but not fluent. Please PM me for more details! My name is Daniela, and I am a cross-over violist from Costa Rica. I moved to the Netherlands in 2020 to pursue my studies at Codarts Conservatory in Rotterdam, where I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Classical Music (Viola). I am currently continuing my journey at Codarts with a Master's degree in Latin Music. During my time in the Netherlands, I have been part of a wide range of musical projects across different genres — from classical orchestras and chamber music to pop, jazz, and world music collaborations. I've performed with ensembles such as the Jong Metropole and recorded with various pop, jazz, and fusion bands. I am also the bandleader of my own Latin project, La Reunión, and work as a freelance musician with diverse musical groups. Before moving to the Netherlands, I studied Music Education at the University of Costa Rica and worked for several years as a private teacher. I have experience teaching violin and viola to both children and adults. As a teacher, I am kind and patient. I believe in the value of consistent, focused work and in helping students grow step by step. I aim to make the learning process feel easy and fun!

I offer individual violin lessons for beginners, advanced players and music students. My particular focus is on Baroque music and historically informed performance practice. For the past three years, I have been intensively studying the Baroque violin and the music of the 17th and 18th centuries. In my teaching, I convey not only technical fundamentals but also stylistic understanding, phrasing, articulation, and the characteristic sound of Baroque music. In addition, I naturally also teach the classical violin repertoire. Lessons cover playing technique, bowing, intonation, vibrato, scales, musical expression, and efficient practice. I'm happy to support you with entrance exams, competitions, orchestra auditions, or when learning new pieces. Each lesson is individually tailored to your goals and skill level.
