Violinist with the Orchestra of the Gran Teatre del Liceu and the Prague Philharmonic, I am a young musician with a master's degree from the Royal College of Music in London. Whether you start playing from scratch, or if you are thinking of doing competitions or admission tests, I will help you achieve your goals. I have been giving private lessons to all kinds of ages and levels for more than three years, combining it with my own career as a solo, chamber and orchestral musician. My goal is to pass on all the information my teachers have given me and boost your skills! WHAT? The classes will be between 45 and 60 minutes depending on your age, level and availability. We will focus on understanding the technique behind the instrument and from there exploiting its artistic potential to the maximum, always from a didactic point of view, enjoying and free of frustrations. And to catch up on goals and way of working, the first class will be FREE! If you prefer, we can also give the classes in English or French to improve those languages. WHERE? I offer individual violin lessons for beginners, advanced players and music students. My particular focus is on Baroque music and historically informed performance practice. For the past three years, I have been intensively studying the Baroque violin and the music of the 17th and 18th centuries. In my teaching, I convey not only technical fundamentals but also stylistic understanding, phrasing, articulation, and the characteristic sound of Baroque music. In addition, I naturally also teach the classical violin repertoire. Lessons cover playing technique, bowing, intonation, vibrato, scales, musical expression, and efficient practice. I'm happy to support you with entrance exams, competitions, orchestra auditions, or when learning new pieces. Each lesson is individually tailored to your goals and skill level. I am studying violin at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (mdw).
