I am a violinist and I will soon finish my studies at the IRMEP (Royal Higher Institute of Music and Pedagogy) in Namur in Didactics. With a Bachelor's degree in violin and baroque violin, and a Master's degree in Music (specializing in violin), I have always been passionate about music and have been teaching for almost 10 years. I love sharing and passing on my passion! During my lessons, I adapt to each person, I try to support each student as best as possible and at their own pace. I make sure that the course goes in a positive way, in a good mood and in confidence. I respect each course. Music is above all to have fun! Depending on the level, the need, the objective and the personal work of the pupil, I try to help him progress on all points, through music. Whether it is in his overall outfit (violin, bow and entire body) or the ear (accuracy of notes, rhythms) and in his feelings (musicality, phrasing etc). I also do my best to put the person at ease and to set specific goals for each upcoming class.

Hello, My name is Elijah. Currently a student at the Royal Institute of Music and Pedagogy of Namur, I offer violin lessons at all levels. With both a scenic and educational experience, I will be very happy to pass on to you or your child all that I have been able to learn during my life as a musician. it is with a lot of enthusiasm that we can choose to approach the violin under two different aspects. Academic: Work in the tradition of the great violin schools (Russian, Belgian, French), with a technical program adapted to the needs, which will evolve over time. This type of work is very suitable for beginners, intermediates who wish to evolve in a slightly more "technical" dimension (without losing the primary objective which is music), or even more advanced people who wish to approach the great classical repertoire in a healthy and thorough way. I offer individual violin lessons for beginners, advanced players and music students. My particular focus is on Baroque music and historically informed performance practice. For the past three years, I have been intensively studying the Baroque violin and the music of the 17th and 18th centuries. In my teaching, I convey not only technical fundamentals but also stylistic understanding, phrasing, articulation, and the characteristic sound of Baroque music. In addition, I naturally also teach the classical violin repertoire. Lessons cover playing technique, bowing, intonation, vibrato, scales, musical expression, and efficient practice. I'm happy to support you with entrance exams, competitions, orchestra auditions, or when learning new pieces. Each lesson is individually tailored to your goals and skill level.
