I am a Belgian violinist, 25 years old, who obtained her master's degree in violin and chamber music at the Lemmens Institute last year. As a violin teacher, the fun of the students is central. With a stimulating and motivated approach, we take on new challenges by looking together for a beautiful sound, musicality, relaxation and suitable repertoire. I cater to the interests of each student. I want to make you curious about the instrument and show you all the possibilities of the violin. I have already gained experience in youth music studios, part-time art education and private. Lessons can be given at my home in Leuven or Roeselare.

I am a violinist from Hungary - I have completed my Masters Degree in Teaching at the University of Debrecen, and in the meantime I have given violin lessons in various music schools in Hungary. I have played actively in various professional orchestras. From this year I started the Artistic Master's program at the Lemmens Institute. Since my first year at the university I teach private lessons, I have experience with both children and adults. I can teach in English, Dutch, French and Hungarian. I am also following Norwegian classes, and I can give it a try in Norwegian as well.

Hello! This year I obtained my Master's degree in violin at LUCA School of Arts Campus Lemmens under Lei Wang and am now starting my adventure as a professional violinist. I have been giving private lessons for six years now and hope to teach more this coming academic year than was previously compatible with my studies. In my lessons, I find it most important that students have fun and feel comfortable in their own skin. In my opinion, this is an essential prerequisite for continuous motivation to learn technically and musically, with a focus on a pace that feels right for the student. My teaching method varies greatly per student because I try to adapt each lesson to what suits the student best and what they need at a particular moment in the lesson. Besides being a musician at heart, I also have a strong interest in psychology. Consequently, over the past few years during my violin studies, I have taken a number of courses annually in the psychology program at KU Leuven. I use the knowledge I gained there to reflect on my educational practice as a violin teacher and to create a safe space for my students in which they can develop freely as musicians and as people. What could be more fun than discovering the wonderful world of music with your child? The violin lessons start from the age of 4, where you as a parent also learn some basic techniques. This way you are fully involved in the musical education of your son or daughter! But of course you can also start with us as an adult student. Violin lessons are suitable for all ages, from 4 to 99 years old! LEARN WHILE PLAYING :) The violin lessons are tailored to each student. For young children we will work playfully full of fantasy and creativity! HOW DO WE GET STARTED? We work according to the mother tongue method of Dr. Shinichi Suzuki, where we believe that anyone can learn the language of music, just as you learn to speak. I am a professional violinist and chamber musician with a Konzertexamen in Violin Performance and Chamber Music from the University of Trossingen (Germany). I also hold a Master’s degree in Chamber Music from the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (MDW) and am currently studying Viola at the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna (MUK). Alongside my academic training, I am active as an orchestral musician and regularly perform with the ORF Radio-Symphonieorchester Wien. I am a professional violinist and teacher with more than 10 years of teaching experience, working with students from young beginners through to ATCL diploma level. I trained at the Conservatoire Royal de Liège in the Franco-Belgian violin tradition and currently perform with the Brussels Philharmonic Orchestra. My teaching combines strong technical foundations with listening, musical curiosity and confidence. Growing up in Hong Kong, I began my own violin studies with the Suzuki Method, and I am now continuing my training in Suzuki pedagogy. I particularly value its emphasis on learning through listening, positive encouragement and developing good habits naturally. I want lessons to be enjoyable and encouraging, while still giving students the tools to become thoughtful and independent musicians. My experience includes individual teaching as well as orchestras, bands and ensembles, so rhythm, listening to others and making music together are also important parts of my teaching. Lessons are adapted to each student's age, level and goals, whether learning for enjoyment or preparing for exams, competitions and performances. Previous students have progressed from beginner to ATCL level, with several receiving prizes at the Hong Kong Schools Music Festival.

Hello and thank you for visiting this website! I'm an established, qualified, and experienced violin teacher who has worked in London for the last 26 years. I'm now back in Belgium for some new musical adventures, as well as to meet new students. I welcome students from the age of four to adults. I have a real passion for transmitting my love of music, and I like to have a creative, playful and holistic approach to teaching. I also play the piano and often use it for aural training or to accompany my students (or do violin duets). I do believe that music is not just for competitions or exams but a skill for life that can bring tremendous joy, discoveries, friends and fun along the way. Learning an instrument is also a great way to foster different qualities such as patience, diligence, presence, resilience, deep listening and the ability to express and share our emotions with others. Having explored many different violin methods and styles, I take a different approach according to each student. I like to teach a solid classical technique with some scales, studies and pieces, but there are many different ways to make music enjoyable or find other paths depending on the student's goal. Although I was trained classically in Belgian Conservatoires and the Guildhall School of Music, I do like to teach a variety of music that is not just classical (Celtic, world, klezmer, jazz, tango, film music, pop...). I often encourage my students to compose or improvise freely. In the last two decades, I have led many youth orchestras and violin workshops and worked for many different primary and secondary schools in England.
