Sound Production: Developing a beautiful, rich tone and clean intonation. Music Literacy: Reading sheet music, understanding rhythm, and basic music theory. Expression & Artistry: Mastering dynamics, articulation, vibrato, and musical phrasing. Performance Skills: Audition preparation, exam prep (e.g., ABRSM, Suzuki, or local curriculums), and overcoming stage fright. 🚲 In-Home Lessons & Bicycle Travel Policy: Flat Rate: My in-home lesson fee is €60 per hour. This flat rate includes my travel time and the physical logistics of bringing lesson materials directly to you. Maximum Radius: I travel by bicycle up to a maximum of 10 km from my location. Weather & Punctuality: Because I travel by bike, please ensure there is a safe, dry space to store my instrument/backpack upon arrival. In cases of extreme weather (heavy storms or black ice), I may request to pivot our session online for that week to guarantee safety.

I offer individual violin lessons for beginners, advanced players and music students. My particular focus is on Baroque music and historically informed performance practice. For the past three years, I have been intensively studying the Baroque violin and the music of the 17th and 18th centuries. In my teaching, I convey not only technical fundamentals but also stylistic understanding, phrasing, articulation, and the characteristic sound of Baroque music. In addition, I naturally also teach the classical violin repertoire. Lessons cover playing technique, bowing, intonation, vibrato, scales, musical expression, and efficient practice.
