I'll teach you to play professionally and progressively, because you really want to learn and not just scrape strings with a waxed stick, wouldn't that be better? I offer in-person lessons at your home in Castellón and the surrounding area, regardless of your absolute skill level. You'll soon go from annoying your neighbors to having them leaning out the window to listen to you. I'm demanding but fair. I'm going to correct you directly and without being condescending. I respect your time, mine, and above all, your investment, because I'd rather you leave here playing than keep your money without you having learned anything. And let me be clear, if that happens, one of us will end up feeling like crap in a flip-flop, and spoiler alert: it won't be me. What I can guarantee is that if your effort, dedication, and consistency are genuine, you will learn. Even if your neighbors keep swearing you're stepping on the cat's tail every time you practice. Oh, and since you'll most likely be having the class at home, a sugar-free Americano is always a good idea. It's the only secret that isn't in the method. My name is Daniela, and I am a cross-over violist from Costa Rica. I moved to the Netherlands in 2020 to pursue my studies at Codarts Conservatory in Rotterdam, where I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Classical Music (Viola). I am currently continuing my journey at Codarts with a Master's degree in Latin Music. During my time in the Netherlands, I have been part of a wide range of musical projects across different genres — from classical orchestras and chamber music to pop, jazz, and world music collaborations. I've performed with ensembles such as the Jong Metropole and recorded with various pop, jazz, and fusion bands. I am also the bandleader of my own Latin project, La Reunión, and work as a freelance musician with diverse musical groups. Before moving to the Netherlands, I studied Music Education at the University of Costa Rica and worked for several years as a private teacher. I have experience teaching violin and viola to both children and adults. As a teacher, I am kind and patient. I believe in the value of consistent, focused work and in helping students grow step by step. I aim to make the learning process feel easy and fun!

Hello, I am a violin teacher and violinist. Having taught the violin for 20 years and knowing in depth different instrumental techniques and different teaching methods, I can adapt my teaching to the needs, age and character of each student. In addition, my educational background combined with the unique experience and knowledge given to me by my relatively recent motherhood and my love for children and other human beings, has led me to pursue positive teaching with empathy towards the student who aims to make him happy, to love music and to acquire a solid basis for his overall development!
