Hello! I am offering violin/viola lessons in Seoul and surrounding areas. I have been teaching in both the US and Korea for more than 25 years including university prep, afterschool programs, and music academies. I have a lot of experience in teaching students in all ages and levels. I have Masters and PhD in music. By the way beginners, you are extremely welcome!!! cause I can teach not only how to play the instrument but also note reading. You're in good hands! :) I am an open-minded, outgoing person and am very passionate about teaching. I put a heavy emphasis on building a community where my students get to know and give support to each other. We also give 2 recitals per year in the summer as well as winter. I am a professional violinist and chamber musician with a Konzertexamen in Violin Performance and Chamber Music from the University of Trossingen (Germany). I also hold a Master’s degree in Chamber Music from the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (MDW) and am currently studying Viola at the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna (MUK). Alongside my academic training, I am active as an orchestral musician and regularly perform with the ORF Radio-Symphonieorchester Wien. My performing experience helps me guide students not only technically, but also musically and artistically. With my international performing and academic experience, I aim to help students build strong technical foundations, develop musical expression, and gain confidence in performance. Lessons can also focus on exam preparation, audition repertoire, chamber music coaching, and concert programs.
