I can also accompany the student on the keyboard if there is one at your home, playing with an accompanist is beneficial for the student to develop their listening, their mastery of tempo and accuracy. I have 12 years of experience playing the transverse flute and am currently a student in a preparatory course for higher education in transverse flute, musical training and writing at the Conservatoire à rayonnement régional de Lyon. I am also in the process of taking the BAFA. I obtained my degree in musicology at Lyon 2 in 2024-25, as well as my CEM in flute (certificate of musical studies, at the end of the 3rd cycle). Beginner flute lessons are suitable for students learning from scratch or those already playing up to about ABRSM Grade 2 level. In beginner flute lessons, you will learn the fundamentals of making a sound and play your first notes, as well as the basics of reading music. Intermediate lessons are suitable for students already playing at about ABRSM Grade 3 to Grade 5 levels.
