Flute, piccolo, and traverso lessons for all ages and levels! 🎵🇫🇷🇪🇸🇬🇧Translate this text using Google Translate.

Hello! My name is Cristóbal, a Spanish flautist passionate about music and teaching it. I offer flute, piccolo and traverso lessons for all levels. I particularly enjoy guiding each student on their musical journey, adapting to their needs and goals. I have had the opportunity to work with students of all ages (from 5 to 68) and all levels, from beginners to those preparing for conservatory entrance exams. I have taught in music schools as well as privately in Spain, France, and Switzerland. This diversity of experience allows me to easily adapt to each student and to offer personalized support, according to their objectives, level and learning pace. After completing my Bachelor's degree in Zaragoza, Spain, I continued my studies at the Strasbourg Conservatory in Raquel Magalhães' class, where I was awarded a distinction. I then obtained a Master's degree in Performance from the Geneva University of Music in Jacques Zoon's class. Currently, I am pursuing a Master's degree in traverso with Johanna Bartz, as well as a Master's degree in piccolo at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp with Peter Verhoyen. This dual specialization allows me to approach the flute family in its stylistic richness, from the modern repertoire to the baroque.

"Music is how emotions sound." This is my philosophy, which I am excited to share with you. I approach my work as a flute teacher with creativity and a personalized touch. Lessons can include technical exercises and a fundamental classical repertoire, or they can focus on free improvisation and self-chosen pieces. The content of the lessons is tailored to your preferences. Music should enrich every day and accompany and inspire my students in their daily lives. With my additional training as a voice therapist, I can also assist you with correct breathing techniques, posture, and body awareness. Key Components: - Motivation to make music - Posture, positioning, and technical exercises - Breathing, relaxed and beautiful sound - Tone colors and interpretation - Ear training - Music theory and harmony - Building a repertoire - Improvisation and expression through music - Music physiology - Classical music as well as jazz, pop etc. The goal is to awaken creativity through the flute and discover your unique sound. Lessons are available in German, English, and Greek. I also offer free improvisation workshops (with a selection of instruments), voice and breathing training, and piano lessons. ABOUT ME: I am a qualified diploma flutist and music teacher with a diploma from the Conservatory of the Polyphonic Choirs in Patras, Greece, and a Master's degree in Music Therapy from the University of the Arts Berlin. Additionally, I am a speech and voice therapist with a focus on vocal technique. For the past 10 years, I have been teaching flute to students of all levels. I have participated in various ensembles and played a wide range of music from classical to contemporary and popular styles. Currently, my focus is on experimental, oriental, and improvisational music. Find out more: www.katherina-pap.com Get in Contact [email protected]

Flute Lessons For Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced StudentsTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Flute Lessons For Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced StudentsTranslate this text using Google Translate.

This class is for students of any age who wish to learn the transverse flute. Learning an instrument takes time and commitment, but it's hugely rewarding - and it doesn't have to be boring! I have experience teaching students of all age and levels and I specialise in tailoring my teaching to meet the individual needs of each student. Beginner flute lessons are suitable for students learning from scratch or those already playing up to about ABRSM Grade 2 level. In beginner flute lessons, you will learn the fundamentals of making a sound and play your first notes, as well as the basics of reading music. As lessons progress, you will learn your first short pieces and maybe even prepare for graded exams. Intermediate lessons are suitable for students already playing at about ABRSM Grade 3 to Grade 5 levels. In these lessons, you will build on what you already know to expand your abilities on the flute. You will learn more about different musical styles and techniques and develop more confidence to express yourself through music. Advanced lessons are for students already playing at about ABRSM Grade 6 and beyond. Depending on each student, lessons could involve growing more skills to take the advanced grade or diploma exams exams through to learning the skills to put together a recital programme or prepare for a music college audition. There is wide scope in these lessons to focus on your areas of interest, while still keeping an eye on the solid foundations of good flute technique and musicianship.

Returning to flute playing after a long gap, Heather was super patient and very helpful with technical tips to get my playing back to a better standard . I really enjoyed it and am looking forward to the pieces she gave me to practice and my next lesson. Professional but relaxed and fun.

Daniel is a very good and patient teacher. He is a very skilled musician, he plays various instruments but saxophone is his very favourite. I highly recommend to take saxophone lessons from him. He is a thorough gentleman and excellent teacher.

Hugh has a lovely manner. He is very thorough. He taught me how to handle a flute properly so as not to damage it. He gave me exercises to improve the sound of my flute. He is very encouraging. I wish I’d had him as a teacher years ago!
