Initial level: - Learn from scratch to play the transverse flute, developing tools that allow you to be increasingly independent when it comes to solving technical problems, but always with the support of a teacher with many years of experience and training, who will guide you in the process. Intermediate level: - Expressiveness: develop your musical sense, so that the performance helps you connect with your own emotions through the works of other composers. Learn to identify styles and modes of interpretation, to understand music in depth and be able to enjoy it more and more. - Creation: get started with procedures for creating your own music, using simple tools that allow you to play with sound in a more personal way. - Technique: develops the technical needs that allow you to enjoy the flute without limitations of control of the instrument. Develop your sound to be able to do extreme dynamics, timbre changes and very expressive articulations. Develop your finger technique to be able to play at high speed with precision, without this being a limitation. Advanced level: - Develop your musical qualities and your understanding of the repertoire, reflecting on and analyzing the musical phenomenon from the score and from musical phenomenology. - Develop your technique to be able to experiment with music without practical limitations. * Prepare your entrance exams to the professional conservatory or higher.

Flute and Piccolo Lessons – All Levels! Do you want to learn to play the flute and piccolo in a fun and enjoyable way? My name is Beatriz, a professional flutist and piccolo player with international training and teaching experience in Spain. I hold a Master’s Degree in Flute and Piccolo Performance from the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp, a Postgraduate in Orchestral Performance, and a Master’s Degree in Music Education in Spain. Combining my academic background with solid performing experience in several orchestras and international competitions, I offer flute and piccolo lessons for all levels, always tailored to the goals and needs of each student. 👉 What I offer in my lessons: Tailored lessons for all levels: from beginners to advanced students. Work on sound production, breathing, posture, technique, intonation, and musical expression. Repertoire adapted to each student’s goals: classical, contemporary, audition preparation, or simply playing for amusement! Lessons available on both flute and piccolo. 📍 Lesson options: At my home. I can also travel to the student’s home. My goal is to inspire students to enjoy music while building confidence and solid technique on their instrument.

I have worked since with children who have begun to put the mouthpiece in their mouths as well as with people preparing tests for the conservatory.

I enjoy teaching both harp and flute at my studio in Worthing and also offer lessons online. I studied at The Royal Academy of Music, London graduating with a first-class Master's degree and an LRAM music teaching qualification. Learning an instrument is a very rewarding and enjoyable experience and I teach students of all ages and abilities from complete beginner to advanced levels. Music theory will be integrated into the lessons and you will have the opportunity to take part in performances and work towards graded exams if you wish to do so or just play for fun! Each lesson will be tailored to the individual pupil’s needs, level, and style. I teach a wide variety of musical styles including Classical, Celtic, Pop, Jazz, and more!
