Hello dear flute fans, modern and historical :-) For me, music is not just sound, but also expression, connection, and a lifelong learning process. Teaching is fulfilling because I get to witness how music opens doors, builds self-confidence, and unleashes creativity. Every student has their own story, their own pace, and individual goals – this makes the lessons lively and unique. I give my best, am patient, curious, and always open to my students. It is simply a gift to be part of this journey and to discover the language of music together with my students. I teach modern flute, transverse flute, and recorder. Professional musician and performer, laureate of international competitions and graduated from Special Musical College in Saint Petersburg (Russia) in teaching specialisation as well as from la Haute Ecole de Musique in Lausanne (Master of performance), and from Hochschule fur Musik in Basel (Master in contemporary music) proposes flute, recorder, piano and musical theory lessons. I have 10 years of teaching experience in Switzerland, France, and Russia. During our lessons you will learn how to play music of different genres, from baroque to contemporary and pop, depending on your wishes. Learn to play; to decipher the scores and improvise by ear or by reading and analyzing chord charts. This course will adapt to your level of play: simple harmonies for beginners and more complex depending on the degree of mastery of the instrument. I enjoy teaching both harp and flute at my studio in Worthing and also offer lessons online. I studied at The Royal Academy of Music, London graduating with a first-class Master's degree and an LRAM music teaching qualification. Learning an instrument is a very rewarding and enjoyable experience and I teach students of all ages and abilities from complete beginner to advanced levels. Music theory will be integrated into the lessons and you will have the opportunity to take part in performances and work towards graded exams if you wish to do so or just play for fun! Each lesson will be tailored to the individual pupil’s needs, level, and style. I teach a wide variety of musical styles including Classical, Celtic, Pop, Jazz, and more!
