Flute lessons in Tilburg that come to you! I have a Bachelor of Music (First Class Honours) degree from the University of Auckland, New Zealand and am currently pursuing a Masters degree at Fontys School of the Arts in Tilburg. I have played with several professional Orchestras in New Zealand (New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, Auckland Philharmonic Orchestra and the Auckland Chamber Orchestra). I strongly believe that learning a musical instrument enhances people’s lives and helps to develop skills which are invaluable to all students – no matter what kind of future they pursue! I have 10+ years of experience teaching flute, and have enjoyed teaching a range of students from beginner to advanced. This is supported by my strong research interest in flute pedagogy and methodology at a postgraduate level. As a teacher I aim to: - Develop well-rounded, confident students who flourish - Develop skills essential as both a flautist and musician: instrumental technique, physical skills (breathing, body alignment), musicality, performance skills and musicianship skills (aural, theory etc.) - Plan creative, engaging lessons with an enjoyable and vibrant atmosphere - Teach in a style that is supportive, encouraging and friendly - Nurture a passion for music - Use acute problem-solving skills to ensure students playing issues are quickly pinpointed and solved - Provide performance opportunities and prepare students for exams if desired

Professional musician and performer, laureate of international competitions and graduated from Special Musical College in Saint Petersburg (Russia) in teaching specialisation as well as from la Haute Ecole de Musique in Lausanne (Master of performance), and from Hochschule fur Musik in Basel (Master in contemporary music) proposes flute, recorder, piano and musical theory lessons. I have 10 years of teaching experience in Switzerland, France, and Russia. During our lessons you will learn how to play music of different genres, from baroque to contemporary and pop, depending on your wishes. Learn to play; to decipher the scores and improvise by ear or by reading and analyzing chord charts. This course will adapt to your level of play: simple harmonies for beginners and more complex depending on the degree of mastery of the instrument. I enjoy teaching both harp and flute at my studio in Worthing and also offer lessons online. I studied at The Royal Academy of Music, London graduating with a first-class Master's degree and an LRAM music teaching qualification. Learning an instrument is a very rewarding and enjoyable experience and I teach students of all ages and abilities from complete beginner to advanced levels. Music theory will be integrated into the lessons and you will have the opportunity to take part in performances and work towards graded exams if you wish to do so or just play for fun! Each lesson will be tailored to the individual pupil’s needs, level, and style. I teach a wide variety of musical styles including Classical, Celtic, Pop, Jazz, and more!
