Two worlds I was born within two worlds, the East and the West; the folklore music of central Greece and the classical one. A major factor in the formation of my musicality comes from the tight relation of my family with Greek traditional music. However, music of any kind was always welcome at my home. Inspired by my father who is also a singer, I got involved in choir singing and started piano lessons. Opting for singing was a choice that gave me the freedom to express my mind. R’n’B & Latin At my first piano lessons, I realised how music is put on paper and the importance of it. At about the same time I started singing in the school choir of my secondary school and I kept being between the lead voices of the high school choir. That was the point where I practiced the different voice harmonies and got over my teenage reluctance by singing in front of the public. At the sweet age of 14, I developed a special interest in R’n’B and soul music. Later on, I got involved in the pop and rock scene but suddenly, Latin jazz music attracted my interest. One of the reasons I fell in love with Latin music is because I feel that each emotion is manifested at its maximum glory. Latin music is a mixture of cultures and backgrounds; it is the fusion of European harmony brought to the colonies with African rhythms like Cuban music was brought to New York. Singing as a vocal discovery I consider myself a people’s person. When teaching I have the need to welcome the student into a safe environment of acceptance where music can happen. In order for the student to let go of personal timidness, mutual trust comes with time yet is necessary. I prioritise my students’ needs; teach them the technical aspects they should know so as to develop a healthy instrument but also coach them so that they develop their taste in music. Because I have been singing various styles through my career, I believe I am quite a chameleon of styles (Latin, Brazilian, Jazz, Pop, Greek). In my lessons I find helpful to use some mini percussion so that the singer can establish an internal metronome. I am very supportive with each individuals’ needs and goals, that is why I always make a personal profile of my students and their progress and also ask them to design their personal dream board. All in all, I always use a combo of methods and adapt at the personal needs of the student. Singing for me is always a vocal discovery and this is what I would like to help my students achieve. The essential idea is to develop a healthy instrument with which you can express through the good and bad days. I have been studying with different teachers around the Netherlands (Codarts alumni) and Greece and during this time I have realised that learning can happen anywhere and anytime.

I give percussion lessons on instruments such as daf, frame drum, darbuka, tonbak, and many more. I also give singing lessons specialised on Kurdish and Turkish traditions. In my lessons, I focus on posture, technique, music theory, and repertoire. But my most important task as a teacher is to motivate my students and help them on their musical journey. I've been teaching music for 10 years and I'm based in Rotterdam. I have a Bachelor's degree in percussion and singing from the Conservatory of Ege University of Izmir and a Master's degree from the Codarts Conservatory of Rotterdam. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced musician, I can customise my lessons to suit your unique needs and interests. My lessons are tailored to each student’s age, experience, and goals. Children (7–12 years old) For younger students, lessons focus on building confidence while making learning fun. We begin with simple vocal warm-ups and ear training to develop pitch and intonation, then move on to singing their favourite songs, encouraging good vocal habits in an enjoyable way. Teenagers (12-17 years old) With teenage students, we start with more structured vocal warm-ups and exercises. As we discover their natural voice, we work on developing a comfortable vocal range, improving technique, and applying these skills through songs that suit their voice and interests. Adults and seniors (18+) For adult students, lessons are usually divided into two parts. We begin with vocal technique, focusing on breathing, diaphragm support, scales, arpeggios, and intonation. We then apply these techniques through singing, helping you develop confidence, control, and healthy vocal habits. I will give you repertoire to study or we will study the pieces you have to prepare. The final goal will be to sing on a musical accompaniment. Every student learns at a different pace. Some may spend more time building a solid technical foundation before moving on to more challenging repertoire, and that’s perfectly fine. My priority is to ensure that every student feels comfortable, supported, and confident throughout their vocal journey. I teach children, teenagers, and adults and seniors from complete beginners to advanced singers. My classical training provides a strong technical foundation that can be applied to any musical style, whether you enjoy pop, musical theatre, jazz, rock, or classical singing. Passionate about the performing arts, I have worked in theatre, dance and music. I began my singing career with musical theatre and then opera. I teach alongside my stage activities because it is a joy to share the love of singing, a discipline that is rich physically, artistically and mentally. I enjoy exploring and researching with my students to help them bring out and develop their voices to the fullest extent of their abilities. My courses are based on 3 main principles: - Vocal technique: developing a healthy and solid technique, giving confidence and freedom while singing. Would you like to play your favorite artists' songs on the guitar? 🎸🎶 In these classes, you'll learn in a practical, dynamic way, perfectly tailored to your musical tastes. You choose the songs, artists, or styles you love, and we'll work together so you can learn to play and accompany them on the guitar. You'll learn chords, chord changes, rhythms, strumming patterns, and different accompaniment techniques, always applied to real songs. The goal isn't simply to memorize songs, but to gradually understand how they work so you can learn new songs on your own. The classes are adapted to all levels. If you're starting from scratch, we'll go step by step so you can begin playing your first songs from the beginning. If you already have some guitar experience, we'll work on improving your rhythm, technique, and accompaniment skills. We can work on pop, rock, rumba, flamenco, singer-songwriter songs, and many other styles. From artists like Estopa, Melendi, Pablo Alborán, Manuel Carrasco, or Fito y Fitipaldis, to any group or singer that's part of your favorite music.
