My name is Lucy and I have recently graduated from The Guildhall School of Music & Drama. I completed my Bachelors Degree in 2014 (First Class Honours) and completed my Masters of Music in 2015. I then returned in 2017 to join the Opera Course where I studied for the last two years. On leaving Guildhall in March 2019, I joined the Glyndebourne Festival Chorus for the Summer. I was re-employed by them to tour in the Autumn/Winter and was due to be rejoining them this year for the 2020 Festival. However, due to COVID-19 this has now been cancelled and I find myself having lots of free time on my hands! A healthy technique is crucial to all singers of all ages, especially in the early stages of learning. As a classically trained singer, I am able to work with my students to provide a solid technique and create a foundation to develop on. Lessons will be personalized, educational and fun! As well as teaching singing, I am able to teach Music Theory and Family Group Sessions. My lessons are always based on the enjoyment of singing and finding a passion for music. Whether you would like to gain a greater understanding of the voice, prepare for performances or simply sing for enjoyment, singing is a wonderful way to develop confidence and your musicianship. If you would like to enter graded exams I am able to teach the repertoire from ABRSM and Trinity exam boards (please note these exam boards are currently not running their exams due to COVID-19) I have been teaching singing for 6 years now, and have now started Online Internet Lessons. My current students have joined me in this adventure - but as there will be no travel time or other work commitments in the way, I am in a position to take on many more Online students. The lessons will work exactly the same as my normal Face to Face lessons. I have a piano here at home, and will teach the lesson as if in the room with the students! I have already taught several lessons and found it to be very successful - I am hoping we can get through this scary time with a little joy and lots of music together. In order to become a great singer, you’ll need to learn how to use your body and breath, but what’s even more important is gaining self-belief and learning how to truly perform pieces. Hello everyone! I am singing and piano online tutor and I have a master degree from the Moscow College of Arts in a skill of teaching pop, jazz, rock singing. I have been teaching singing for 11 years to adults and children from all over the world in the classroom and via Skype. I'm a patient and passionate teacher. I try to discover the special way of learning of my students. I believe that every voice is unique. I have appeared on stage in various concert halls in Moscow and I know how to be comfortable working as a singer, how to relax and manage the stress. I studied psychology courses in Saint-Petersburg and my methods help my students to become more confident, to improve social skills and enjoy to study. Everybody can sing! In my classes I will guide you to find your own voice, through vocal exercises and movements, self-perception and listening. My desire is that the student enjoys his or her voice and singing without hurting or using extra tension and specially that he/she has the tools to know the instrument, so to know yourself. In addition to vocal technique, I offer interpretation tools and music theory through repertoire work (songs) so that the student can interpret different styles and sing along with other musicians. I studied vocal technique with teachers from the Rabine Institute in Germany and I have also taken a lot of courses of dance, theater and Alexander Technique that I use for my lessons in order to have an holistic approach of the voice and our body as an instrument. Aloha! I am a musician, i've been doing the conservatory of music in France and make music since more than 20 years now. Yes i love music, and particularly guitar that i played for now 14 years and i am a singer as well. I've been playing in bands and had my own band. Playing on scenes jams sessions and orchestras I am proposing here a study in wich tha practice of the instrument and the theory of music will fusion in an understanding of the music. I am specialised in preparing students for the various academic qualifications in vocal performance (recital) offered by the London College of Music Examinations (LCME) of the University of West London. The diplomas cover a range of first-years undergraduate to master level qualifications, all fully accredited in the UK and carrying transferable academic credits for use at other (international) universities. Exams consist of a performance element, counting for 80%, and a short demonstration of theoretical knowledge (discussion, sight reading or programme notes, depending on the diploma). The diplomas are: - The Diploma of the London College of Music (DipLCM) in vocal performance recital is of an equivalent standard to a 1st year undergraduate module (RQF Level 4, EQF Level 5) and the performance element is examined through a 25-30 minutes performance. The diploma is worth 90 CATS (British equivalent of 45 ECTS) academic credits. - The Associate of the London College of Music (ALCM) in vocal performance recital is of an equivalent standard to a 2nd year undergraduate module (RQF and EQF Level 5) and the performance element is examined through a 35-40 minutes performance. The diploma is worth 120 CATS (British equivalent of 60 ECTS) academic credits. - The Licentiate of the London College of Music (LLCM) in vocal performance recital is of an equivalent standard to a final year undergraduate module (RQF and EQF Level 6) and the performance element is examined through a 45-50 minutes performance. The diploma is worth 180 CATS (British equivalent of 90 ECTS) academic credits. - The Fellow of the London College of Music (FLCM) in vocal performance is of an equivalent standard to a Masters module (RQF and EQF Level 7) and the performance element is examined through a 50-60 minutes performance. The diploma is worth 225 CATS (British equivalent of 112.5 ECTS) academic credits. In all cases, candidates are required to achieve 75% to attain the diploma qualification. Exam preparation will consist of approximately 30 hours of private online tuition by me, depending on your current level. The tuition fee, including preparation and exam entry, is €20 per diploma CATS credit. Do note that entry requirements may apply, so feel free to contact me for advice on this. In the UK, LCM's diploma examinations are regulated by Ofqual, Qualifications Wales and CCEA at Levels 4 to 7 of the Regulated Qualifications Framework. The diplomas are also included in the European Qualifications Framework (EQF). Additionally, LCM diplomas in music are mapped against the BMus and MMus Performance / Composition degree courses at University of West London, which are validated by the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA). BMus and MMus students who hold an LCM diploma are automatically eligible to bypass the relevant module or modules on the degree course. Other degree-awarding institutions (including those outside the UK) may, on a discretionary basis, accept LCM diplomas as Approved Prior Learning (APL) on a similar basis. This may assist in your admittance to degree studies at a conservatory or university and possibly provide dispensation for certain modules in your further studies.
