Introductory chemistry courses are required for all most all majors in college, but most students have a very hard time with these classes. This class goes over all the information covered in most college chemistry courses including: chemical foundations, stoichiometry, chemical reactions, gases, thermochemistry, atomic theory, bonding, liquids, and solutions. This class is taught with PowerPoint in combination with many sample questions to ensure concepts are fully understood and can be used in real life settings. Study guides and note sets are also given to ensure that all the information gone over in the class can be retained, and to limit the amount of the review in subsequent lessons.

I'm Keerti, a 22-year-old female college student with a true passion for mathematics and science. I am currently studying pre-medicine with a BS in Psychology at Baylor University. In college, I have taken several advanced level courses in order to cure my insatiable desire to better understand math and science subjects. I have taken advanced foreign languages, math, science, and psychology classes throughout high school and college and I received a 4 on my AP CALC AB exam, a 5 on my AP psychology exam and I have taken advanced Latin throughout high school and college and I also received Magna Cum Laude on the National Latin Exam. I became interested in tutoring after volunteering at my local church in high school to teach elementary and middle school students suffering from mental illnesses. While tutoring for four years, I not only had the opportunity to cultivate my passion for learning but also to build a connection between my students and learning as I saw a vast improvement in their scores and overall skills. This teaching opportunity has reawakened my passion for learning and strengthened my desire to tutor. My compassion for students that are struggling with any subject has motivated me to acquire enough knowledge in order to proficiently teach them. Not only will my lessons be customized to the goals and needs of each student but I will also build a strong foundation for their success in future subjects. Please feel free to contact me if you have any additional questions and to schedule a lesson.

Sciences can be challenging and abstract, but they have endless applications and help us to have a better understanding of the world we live in. As an Aerospace Engineer student, I understand how difficult they can be, and my personal goal is to make them enjoyable and understandable by using real-life examples that make students motivated about them. I believe that everyone can learn them without any special talent, just good work and precise guidelines can make everyone a master at it.
