Russian lessons with a C2-level native English speaker from the UK. I started learning Russian from scratch when I was 15, before going on to get A* at A-Level and spending a year living and working in Moscow. I've been teaching the language privately now for several years. I use the same challenging textbook in my lessons that I used myself to learn the language, and this gives us a clear structure and direction to follow. The focus on grammar is high in the beginning stages with Russian - there really is no getting around this if you want to speak properly - but I also try to fit plenty of conversation practise into the lessons to apply what has been learnt. With me you'll be learning quickly and getting a great foundation in Russian in a friendly, relaxed, conversational atmosphere. I've been through this whole process myself and greatly enjoy sharing what I've learnt with others.

Depending on the level it could either involve analyzing in detail, learning about the structure of the text or it could be geared towards vocabulary, fluency and a love of books. Student in Bachelor of Language Sciences and holder of a literary bac mention very well, I will help you to reconnect with French and its methodology. Pedagogue and organized, I will help you to familiarize yourself with methods and words playfully and passionately. I usually operating as follows: - I'm looking at the problems you have; - We move forward together to solve these problems: explanations, fun exercises, methods, training, tips, about topics that interest you (series, games, movies, cat... whatever!); - For every new problem in your program and every difficulty, we find a solution together; - Then, if there are no more problems, we try to go further: improvements in "details" or more important things, training, exercises, tips, and tricks. But in any case, I adapt my work to the way you work and understand. If you are very "visual", no worries: we will use colors, images, metaphors. If you need repetition to get there, no problem either: we will rehearse and train. And if you need to communicate, to often have help or to receive small messages to motivate you: that's normal and that's not a problem. The main thing is that we can work together to find out what the problem is and what works for you. And if you are struggling, if it does not work, no worry (but it must be said!). We will operate a new way until you get there. I believe in you, but you must also believe in yourself and do your best. This is the only rule of the contract.
