As a teacher, I believe in guiding students along the path they've chosen for themselves. My lessons are student-centered, focusing on their unique strengths and interests. I always aim to create an environment where we learn together, rather than me simply talking at them. Humor plays a big role in my teaching—I enjoy using jokes and lighthearted moments to make learning more enjoyable. For me, it's about connecting with my students, not just instructing them.

Throughout my educational journey, I've continually expanded my knowledge and skills in both teaching and economics. Currently, I'm pursuing a Masters in Educational Needs, with a focus on behavior and autism. This builds on my foundation in online teaching methods, tools, and platforms, such as LMS and Microsoft Teams, gained in recent years. My background includes a degree teaching qualification in Economics, as well as hands-on experience in project management through the Inter-American Development Bank. With a bachelor's in International Financial Management from Amsterdam, I blend a strong financial background with a passion for education and student development.

A qualified language coach with 25 years of experience offers intensive Dutch lessons in a small class or online.

I give many Dutch NT2 lessons to expats and in preparation for an integration exam.
Specialized in guiding for the State Exam I and II. Special exam coach.

In January 2025 I will also start with groups again. We have a great classroom in the center of Rotterdam, near metro station Beurs, lessons with small homogeneous groups (little difference in level).

We mainly go for quality and not just running a lesson. I am really involved in the progress of the student. In addition to teaching, I want to do everything to really motivate students to take the next step. That is my strength!

You can also choose the online lesson package with Whereby, Teams or Zoom in a comfortable way. Online classes are one-on-one or maximum one-on-two, for better results.

My English is fluent, as well as Portuguese and Spanish. I understand the difficulties of overcoming barriers for Latin languages and for expats in general, as I have also been an expat.

Online lessons last 75 minutes once a week for 10 weeks to reach a higher level.

This is the normal speed. Including exam training (A-2 or Staatsexamen) and exam at the end.

Intensive training ? That can also be done in five to ten full days, I am used to giving these very intensive trainings to CEOs or managers who want it faster and more intensive ... all lessons within 3 or 4 weeks. Based on the European system A-1, A-2, B-1, B-2 and C-1

As soon as students want to further improve their knowledge of Dutch, I always advise and coach them to take the State Exam I or II, the only formal Certificate in this country, recognized by employers and universities.

I will try to switch to conversation after a few lessons, to put your knowledge into practice as soon as possible. Don't get too caught up in the grammar.

Teaching is my ultimate passion and even after 25 years it feels like the first time and students always feel inspired to overcome the obstacles.

I also teach you about Dutch social culture, which is intertwined in the course and is strongly related to the language.

I use several methods which are specially conceived to teach Dutch to people who have a different mother tongue. I really like to use methods out of the ordinary like role games or methods with which you learn while playing. All these adapted to the student's situation of course. As I learned myself a couple of other languages, it is easy for me to detect difficulties a student can encounter and adapt the way of learning. I can teach in English, French, German and Russian.

I am a professional professor of economics in Poland since 2005. I teach Economics HL and SL in the IB program in one of the best schools in Warsaw since 2013. I can explain your doubts and help you with the Internal Assessments. I don't speak Spanish, I only speak English.
I graduated from Szkoła Główna Handlowa w Warszawie (Warsaw School of Economics) and have completed all the necessary trainings for the previous and current syllabus.
All the classes are based on what you need to know for your final IB exam, but I explain it in an unconventional way so that you understand better. I adjust the methodology to each my student. I have a lot of experience teaching groups and individuals. All my students always get good grades on Internal Assessments and final exams.
