A bit about me: MSc Finance at Bocconi, CFA Level 1, an off-cycle internship on UniCredit’s structured credit team, and an engineering degree before that. I have sat these exams recently, so I know which topics carry the marks and where people lose them.

How I teach: I use simple analogies and try different routes until one lands, instead of repeating the same explanation louder. Lessons are two way, not lectures. Ask the questions you think are too basic, because those are usually the gap that everything else is failing to stand on.

About Me

I’m an MSc Finance student at Bocconi with an Engineering background, a GRE Quant score of 169/170, and CFA Level I. I also have two years of work experience across KPMG and UniCredit, including structured credit.

My teaching style is interactive and focused on understanding concepts properly. I encourage students to ask questions freely, even the very basic ones, because those are often the key to building a strong foundation.

I like to explain the why behind a concept and then reinforce it with practice. I prepare lessons and questions based on the student’s level and goals, and I encourage regular practice so that the learning actually sticks.

I’m patient, encouraging, and I genuinely enjoy teaching. I also have previous teaching experience from my bachelor’s degree.

My goal is simple: help you understand the subject clearly, build confidence, and become comfortable solving problems on your own.

Statistics, Probability and Econometrics for University Students

I am an MSc Finance (Major: Quantitative Finance) student at Bocconi with an engineering background and two years of combined work experience in at UniCredit and KPMG. I hold CFA Level 1 and scored 169/170 on the GRE quantitative section.

Topics I cover: descriptive statistics, probability and distributions, hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, linear and multiple regression, time series basics, and the statistics components of finance and economics degree courses.

Who this is for: university students in economics, finance, management or engineering preparing for a specific exam or resit, and professionals who need statistics for work.

How I teach: send me your syllabus, past papers and problem sets before the first lesson so I can build sessions around the exam you are actually sitting. Most of the lesson is you working through problems while I watch where the reasoning breaks down, because that is what fails under exam pressure, not the formulas.
