My name is Denise and I am a professional singer and vocal coach with a Master’s degree in Historical Singing, Musicology and Music Education from the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC).

I have over 8 years of teaching experience in Europe and Latin America, working with students from diverse cultural and musical backgrounds in private lessons, artistic projects, and educational contexts.

I offer piano lessons for adults and children, tailored to your goals and preferences. Each lesson lasts 45 minutes. Lessons are conducted in English, German and Russian. I teach piano at home in Vienna’s 3rd district and online on a beautiful Yamaha piano.

I have a full class of 13 students. Each semester, I organize a recital. If they wish, even my online students can take part through a live stream :)

I am an award-winning pianist in international competitions, a graduate of the Moscow Conservatory named after P.I. Tchaikovsky (BA), and currently a student at the Anton Bruckner University in Austria (MA).

I have developed my own teaching methodology, which varies depending on the student's age, skill level, and preferences. With extensive teaching experience for both adults and children, I have completed pedagogical practice and a piano teaching methodology course at the Moscow Conservatory. I teach beginners from scratch, prepare school students for exams, competitions, concerts, and entrance exams. Additionally, I teach solfeggio, music theory, ear training, rhythm development, hand positioning, and stage performance skills. I work on both classical repertoire and any pieces the student desires. I create custom arrangements for my students, including simplified versions of difficult pieces.

My online setup makes the lessons feel just like in-person: I use a tripod to demonstrate my hands and provide an online screen display for sheet music. After each lesson, I send video tutorials for clear, visual examples.

I am a professional violinist and chamber musician with a Konzertexamen in Violin Performance and Chamber Music from the University of Trossingen (Germany). I also hold a Master’s degree in Chamber Music from the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (MDW) and am currently studying Viola at the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna (MUK).

Alongside my academic training, I am active as an orchestral musician and regularly perform with the ORF Radio-Symphonieorchester Wien. My performing experience helps me guide students not only technically, but also musically and artistically.

My particular focus is on Baroque music and historically informed performance practice. For the past three years, I have been intensively studying the Baroque violin and the music of the 17th and 18th centuries. In my teaching, I convey not only technical fundamentals but also stylistic understanding, phrasing, articulation, and the characteristic sound of Baroque music.

I am a singer, vocal coach, and music therapist, and I have been teaching singing for 24 years. I studied classical singing, musical theatre singing, and music pedagogy at the Vienna University of Music and Performing Arts, graduating 26 years ago. As a classical singer, I have performed at venues including the Vienna Musikverein (Great Hall and Glass Hall), in the New York opera production of The Magic Flute, and at Stuppach Castle, among others. As a pop singer, I released my own album 10 years ago (ELIEM), and our songs have received radio airplay. I can also teach you how to compose your own pop songs, how to sing well into a microphone, and how to accompany yourself on the piano. I have been teaching classical, musical theatre, and pop singing for 24 years at various music schools and with the Vienna Boys' Choir. Having also studied Indian music therapy in India, I place great emphasis on the therapeutic aspect of singing. I also teach Indian music therapy.
