I am a Greek violinist, originally from Thessaloniki. I have lived in Vienna since 2009 and completed my studies at the MUK Private University in the class of Lidia Baich. Before that, I studied at the Gnessin Institute in Moscow.

It's especially important to me to offer my students the opportunity to experience music and express themselves in this beautiful language during lessons. Since I myself come from the Russian school, the basic principles of the violin are combined with beautiful sound, expressiveness, and a musical character. And, of course, humor is a must!

Are you a music lover? Do you want to challenge yourself and start to play violin? No matter at which age do you start, playing violin requires dedication, passion but also fun! Let's learn to practice together and start this amazing journey in the violin world!

I offer private violin lessons to ...

DREAMERS, who have been dreaming of learning the violin, but haven ́t realized their thoughts yet;
KIDS, of all ages, who are thinking if that ́s the right instrument or need some help with continuing their studies, technique, repertoire;
ADULTS, who wanna improve their knowledge by understanding the violin, make music together or help their kids at home.

Lessons can be held in Estonian, English and in German.

Hi there! I'm Tim, a Dutch violinist in Vienna. Teaching is a great passion of mine and I would love to work together. All ages and levels are welcome. Hi, my name is Atsu and I'd love to pass on my knowledge, my experiences and my passion to you! I started playing the violin when I was three and up until now I've studied with Fuminori Shinozaki and Simon Wiener, amongst others.

I gladly offer my assistance to you, so that you can achieve your goals efficiently. Here, it's important for me to discover your strengths together and help you develop them further. Of course, I will make sure that you have fun and you stay motivated:) Probably what's special about my lesson is that we're also going to play duets, which should help you learn to listen to other musicians and acquire the skills needed for playing in an ensemble.

In the long run: it's not just about learning the rules and correct techniques; it is also vital that you eventually learn to interpret the music on your own personal way by using your (musical) intelligence, and to have the confidence to break traditional norms. It is through the hands of artists who dare to experiment that music (like all art forms) becomes alive.

Your (or your child's) age doesn't matter that much; it's never too late to start learning! I will adapt the teaching methods individually.

I am a violinist based in Vienna with extensive performance and teaching experience. The last few years I have studied in many cities (such as Frankfurt, Brussels and Amsterdam), learning from some of the best music professors in Europe.

Have you always wanted to play the violin? Or maybe your child is into music and would love to learn to play an instrument? Then, this might be a great opportunity for you to fulfill that desire.

If on the contrary you are an advanced student, I would love to help you build solid technique and support your own musicality.

On the other hand, I do love all kinds of music. I am happy to work with you in Pop or Folk songs for example. I did play many years in Pop and Folk bands at different venues, such as resorts in Greece! If you would like to, any song can be arranged and played on the violin.

I love meeting new students and helping them through their journey with the instrument. Every individual has different needs and goals and as a teacher I work together with every student, giving them the tools, knowledge and support they need to reach those goals.

Making music and learning how to do it should be always a enjoyable process. Fortunately, when you like music and have a supportive and experienced teacher, helping you out and giving you the tools you need in every moment, that joy and stress-free music-making comes easily.

I have 10 years of experience teaching private lessons to different ages and levels and several years of teaching internships during my studies.

Please, do not hesitate to contact me for any further questions or book.
