Cello Lessons for All Ages & Skill Levels – Live in Vienna or Online
From 107.51 C$ /h
❓Do you already play the cello and feel like you’re still missing some of the basics?
❓Have you never played an instrument before and would now like to learn the cello?
🙋🏻♂️ My name is Gustav, and I’m happy to offer cello lessons in Vienna (in person) or online—for all ages and all skill levels!
🎻 To be able to make music on the cello, you first need a solid technical foundation—just like the framework of a house, which must be in place before construction can even begin.
💎 With a systematic and logically structured method, anyone can learn to play the cello with joy and ease!
🎓 In addition to my training as an instrumental pedagogue, I am also a trained concert cellist. I work as principal cellist with the Sinfonieorchester Liechtenstein and regularly perform on stage with my piano trio (Trio Souvenirs).
I look forward to meeting you!

Guidelines:
By booking one of my lessons, the person making the booking agrees to the terms and conditions stated below.
• Apprentus guidelines: https://www.apprentus.com/en-at/student-payment-terms
My model is the “Flexible” model, which means you can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled lesson.
Please note: Cancellations within 24 hours before the lesson are subject to Apprentus policies, requiring payment of 50% of the lesson fee.
• Unexcused cancellations or cancellations made after the fact are not eligible for a make-up lesson or refund; the lesson will be considered as “given.”
• Lateness:
Students are expected to contact the teacher by phone if they are running late for a scheduled lesson. If a student arrives after the scheduled start time, the lesson will take place within the remaining time. Additional time to compensate for student lateness is not guaranteed.
If the teacher arrives late, additional time will be offered after the scheduled lesson time to make up for the delay.
• Scheduling for weekly lessons on a fixed weekday:
If the teacher is unable to be in Vienna during a given week, the student will be informed in advance so that a make-up lesson can be arranged.
• In case of last-minute cancellations by the teacher due to illness or a family emergency, a make-up lesson will be offered. If preferred, the make-up lesson can also be held online.
If a student cancels a rescheduled make-up lesson, that lesson will be forfeited.
• Copyright:
If a student wishes to record the lesson (live via audio/video or online via screen recording), they must obtain the teacher’s consent in advance.

Extra information
• If available, please bring your own instrument. If you do not yet have one, please contact me in advance and we will find a solution together. (I can provide rental options from local violin makers.)
• Lesson days and times are arranged individually and should ideally take place at the same time each week to establish a routine.
• For children under the age of 8: the presence of a parent is recommended, but not required.
• Online lessons or a hybrid format (in-person and online) are possible for advanced students, but not for beginners, as a new instrument needs to be taught physically (in “3D”) during the first years.
• If lessons at Musikquartier Wien are requested, room rental costs will be added to the lesson price.
• For partner lessons or sibling discounts, feel free to contact me directly!
