Learning how to play an instrument can fall into many classroom stereotypes; Not if you strive to discover sounds and styles, if you're open to learning not only an instrument but all that is related to music and sound making! I've taught at different institutes and private lessons for +5 years; then slowly began to put together my own method of teaching not only piano, but related subjects to help students gain a broader knowledge and be able to take next steps in their music journey even when they're finished with their music lessons.With all the experience I gathered in working with children and adults, I've composed a method of teaching subjects related to piano performance(music theory, music history, improvisation and creative music composing) alongside lessons on the instrument and piano techniques, as the student proceeds and is in need of more broad knowledge. It doesn't matter wether the student is a pupil or an adult, if they have experience in music or not, there's always a lot to discover together in my lessons; based on the students needs and interests. I usually start with basics of the instrument and give students a general lesson on how the instrument works. As we proceed in our lessons, we will cover techniques and more specific skills based on the interest of the student.Our lessons are very flexible regarding class material and my aim is to keep the lessons always fun and informative as well as following the bigger aim of helping the student to be confidant in their music performing and music creation. The format of our lessons will not stay the same as we work on different pieces, different skills and subjects. There are certain repertoire we will cover but also some of the pieces the student likes to be able to play and understand. We will also work on performing skills, I often organise mini concerts for students that like to overcome their fear of performing on stage or for others, giving them the opportunity to perform their own pieces or from classic piano repertoire.

Improvising Or if you perhaps wish to get away from notes written down on the page I can help you develop your own creativity by understanding theory and applying it to chordal playing, composing and improvising, and playing by ear. Practical Lessons From the age of 12, I had classical piano lessons and have always studied the piano as a secondary instrument to the trumpet. I continue to play piano as a hobby and during my studies at the conservatory, I developed an interest in jazz piano playing. You can therefore feel confident that no matter what your interest may be (perhaps you haven't figured this one out yet), I can give you high-quality fun, and enjoyable training in your own interests. Emiliano is Italian guitarist based in Den Haag (NL). His passion for jazz ,since the high school years, brought him to study jazz guitar in the Netherlands, having the possibility to learn from some of the best teachers and musicians. He’s currently studying jazz guitar with the Dutch jazz guitarist Martijn Van Ieterson. He also studied with Antoine Boyer and Pedro Martins .He performed with names such Chris Cheek, Philippe Maniez, Eric Ineke, Rob Van Bavel and many more. Currently he is leader of his own trio with Davids Eglitis and Arjun Ramdas. The trio mostly perform original music and standards from the American Songbook. In 2023 he won The Grachten Festival Competition (NL) Barga Jazz (IT) and Fara Music (IT) with the Marco Ullstein quintet. In 2024 he had the chance to perform with the Jazz Orchestra of the Congertgebouw in the main hall of the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam (NL).

Hi! My name is Zoë and I am an oboist. I have completed a Bachelor of Music at the Australian National University and am now starting my Master of Music at the Koninklijk Conservatorium van Den Haag. I love to share my passion for music with others, and in my lessons you will learn about music that interests you and most importantly, have fun! I have been teaching for six years. I have experience teaching all ages and abilities, in individual lesson environments, group lessons, reed making lessons, small ensemble tutoring, and orchestral tutoring. I have experience with all genres of classical music, and have a strong background in music theory, aural skills, musicology, and composition. Lessons with me will incorporate all skills involved to become a well rounded musician. Some of the highlights of my musical career so far have included being principal oboist and orchestral manager of the Australian National University Orchestra and performing E. Goossens' Oboe Concerto at their 2022 Concerto Gala, playing tutti oboe in the Canberra Symphony Orchestra, principal oboe in the Australian Romantic and Classical Orchestra's Young Mannheim Symphonists Orchestra, and performing in the Olive Trio, a chamber music ensemble consisting of oboe, violin and harp, made up of members of the Canberra Symphony Orchestra.
