Playing an instrument is one of the most fulfilling and enriching things you can do in your live. I am a cello student in Rotterdam. I have been studying music my whole life and professional cello for more than 10 years. I have the greatest passion in teaching. I have played in professional orchestras, competed in professional competitions and studied in different conservatories on my different levels of education. I have been teaching music theory and cello. Now I am far from home, fresh out of my bachelors to reach even further with my music, hoping to have the satisfaction of teaching more people and sharing my knowledge with you. I have been taught by many different teachers from various styles and cultures. I have been learning from masters and now I want to show you what they have given me.

I will show you the best technique for your physique and help you improve your skills on the instrument. I hope to make nice music with you and show you how much you can express through sound. I will help you to find your own ways of improving. You will be able to play the cello and also to make music together with other people.

If you already have a more advanced level, that is also great! We can work on perfecting your technique and finding inspiration. We can work on understanding the composers and what you want to express.
I can also prepare you for conservatories. We can look at options and meet with teachers. We can decide on an impressive program for your auditions and I will help you to gain the skills to impress the professionals. We can even set goals, deadlines or concert dates according to your ambitions.

About Me

I am a hardworking student who loves to teach.
I have been wishing to be a teacher since high school, I already have experience but I want to meet more students and share my knowledge with many more people from all ages.
I have been studying far away from my home and my family. I am very eager to finally have my own income to support my education here in Europe.
I am currently learning Dutch and I hope to be able to teach in Dutch in one year.

I recently finished my bachelors in Codarts, studying cello in the Classical Music Department. I have been studying in professional music education schools and conservatories for more than 10 years.

Experience / Qualifications

I have played as principal cello in the students orchestra of Bilkent University for four years. I have also played as principal and on other chairs in many other orchestras through out the years. I have been in more than 20 chamber music groups and gave concerts with many of them. I worked as the youngest musician in one of the oldest and biggest theatres in Turkey as a player and a musical consultant. I have won several auditions for universities in countries such as the Netherlands, USA and Turkey. I have been in competitions and I am an active musician giving solo concerts. I have thought cello and music theory.

SPECIALISED IN TEACHING ADULTS.
Would you like to learn one of the instruments which have more style possibilities? Would you like to know why many composers say that is a very powerful instrument because it fits in may situations? Did you know that in the Klezmer history clarinet substituted the violin for projection reasons but also because perfectly able to imitate the human voice, crying or laughing? One of my priorities as a musician is the sound. I believe that with a beautiful and personal sound you are able at every level to transmit emotion and meaning, it doesn’t matter the difficulty or the level. So I try to focus first on awareness of what’s beautiful for the student and what’s not. Then through technique and repertoire (suggestions of the student or suggestions of mine that can help to grow the student curiosity), we develop the student knowledge.

Always helping the student to understand -depending on his/her the theoretical level- what we are doing, putting together music and theory. And giving tools to expand the border, at all levels. I have knowledge and experience in Jazz, Classical, Klezmer, Choro Music and Improvisation.

• Music Theory
I focus on having a good basics, spending as much as we need to understand every single thing, because then with times it becomes more easy. I try to help the student simplifying the material because then, we only with ourselves with a good procedure of the basics to solve any problem. Only with one lesson, you will understand what I mean.

I have experience in preparing students for exams, the ones for the semester as well as any official exam; doesn't matter if you have an intermediate theory level and you want to improve, or if you would like to be stronger solidifying the knowledge you have (which is always the best option), or if you don’t know anything about notes and music concepts and you would like to be familiar with them. Maybe you are an adult who always wanted to improvise but doesn’t know where to start...?
The only thing you need is a good organization -which I can provide- to reach any goal!

Hello everyone, I'm Enrico and I come from Italy. Right now I am in Utrecht where I am doing a master's degree in cello under the guidance of Timora Rosler.
During my years of studies I always had the possibility to teach music, in fact while I was doing my Bachelor in Italy at the Conservatory of Turin, I taught cello and music theory in a private music school called "Isla de Musiqueros", in this school I had the opportunity to teach people of all ages, including children under 4 years old.
When I moved to the Netherlands little by little I started to find students and many many concerts.

I believe that playing is the best way to have fun and express your emotions, the work I want to do is work on tensions and try to help you melt away while playing, in this way you can have more sound and feel more free.

I am a Spanish pianist and composer (MMus graduate from Codarts Rotterdam in both directions) with many years of teaching experience, and also very active in performing in various contexts.

Guitar is a very versatile instrument, used in many different genres, including classical music. For me, my journey with it started somewhere in my early childhood, primarily with listening to my mum's playing of folk songs. What amazed me is the power that music has to make people come together and communicate. So at 10, I formally started my individual relationship with the instrument, studying classical guitar, which has given me some of the greatest pleasures in this life, and I hope it will be my source of joy until my dying day. Currently, I am studying Makam music at the Global Music Department of Codarts, Rotterdam.
