Whether you are picking up the clarinet for the first time, looking to improve your playing, or preparing for an audition or performance, the lessons will be tailored to your individual level and goals.

We can work on sound production, breathing, embouchure, articulation, finger technique, intonation, musical phrasing, and repertoire. For more advanced students, lessons can also focus on orchestral excerpts, audition preparation, solo repertoire, and developing greater confidence and consistency in performance.

I believe that good technique should help you play more naturally and expressively, rather than make playing feel complicated. I therefore pay close attention to finding efficient and comfortable solutions for each student, while encouraging them to develop their own sound and musical ideas.

Students of all levels are welcome, from beginners to advanced players. Lessons are adapted to each student’s needs, pace, and musical interests.

Please bring your own clarinet, reeds, and any music you are currently working on. If you are a complete beginner and do not yet have an instrument, feel free to contact me before the first lesson for advice.

Composition lessons are for anyone who wishes to compose music, for any instrument, emsemble and/or electronics music.

My teaching method combines various approaches and styles, supporting practice with theoretical knowledge, and most important developing creativity and helping the student in making their imagionary visions come real.

For each student a different palate of tools is offered, according to the student's musical wishes and ambitions.

I teach the basis of western-music composition - theory, harmony, counterpoint, score-reading, solfege, rhythm, analysis and more.
Further I suggest broad overview of world, jazz, pop, new/contemporary music, various styles in electronic music (popular and experimental), improvisatory compositions, graphic notation, text and game pieces, music for theater, film and dance and interdicsiplinary works which combine music with other art fields.

I am a professional musician who finished his masters studies in 2020 in Codarts, Rotterdam. Lessons are intended for all levels, I can adapt my teaching to the student needs. I'm a classical clarinetist, I have two masters (recently graduated at Codarts) and different experience in orchestra, chamber music and teaching! My goal as a teacher is to stimulate the student to study in order to be at the disposal of music and not a passive player as can happen many times when you undertake a new study. That is why I like to play with my students and organize little private concerts and try-out.
Concerning the music theory lessons, I am not going to bore you with long and incomprehensible explanations! We will study it in a fun and effective way! Hello!! I'm Marina, I'm 25 years old and I'm currently based in Den Haag.
I studied flute at Musikene (San Sebastian) and Codarts (Rotterdam). I currently work as an orchestral and chamber musician between the Netherlands and Spain, collaborating with ensembles such as the Concertgebouw Chamber Orchestra, Residentie Orkest, Spanish National Orchestra, and the Basque National Orchestra, among others.
