My passion for violin started when I was 6 years old and began my studies at the prestigious school of music and art in the Republic of Moldova, country of music, good wine beautiful people and a good sense of humour.
I subsequently graduated with a distinction for a Licentiate Diploma in Higher Education Music from the Academy of Music, Theatre and Fine Arts, “Gavriil Musicescu” Chisinau Republic of Moldova.

During my time at the Academy, I participated in many Master classes with famous Violinists such as Charles Stewart (former member of Chilingirian Quartet) and Sandor Devich (former member of Bartok
Quartet), violist Jerry Horner (former member of Fine Arts Quartet) and Cellist Laszlo Mezo (member of Bartok Quartet).
After graduating, I worked in the National Opera and Ballet Orchestra for three years and joined the National Drama Theatre Chamber Orchestra “Mihai Eminescu” as well as the National Chamber Orchestra which helped me gather valuable professional experience. In 2012, I was invited to perform worldwide, including countries such as the USA, Holland, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Romania, Poland and the UK.

VIOLIN AND/OR MUSIC THEORY LESSONS

When I begin teaching an individual, I make sure that I inspire them and teach them the value and beauty of music. I am very thorough about teaching technique properly so that it will last and be an asset in one's musical future, but I still like to keep my students on their toes and excited about actually making music and adding life to the notes they draw out of their instruments. Each individual is different and has different goals they wish to achieve with their playing, thus, for me it is very important to establish a connection with my students and cater each lesson to their specific needs and learning style.

I have had the pleasure of sharing my love of music with musicians of all ages ever since I began teaching the violin in 2014. I teach both young and mature students, focusing my energy on private lessons. I have also had the opportunity to work with groups of young children at summer programs in collaboration with the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony.

Chamber Music/Theory teacher, soloist, orchestra leader, chamber musician, and jury
member.
I have graduated in Violin at the Conservatory of Music "G.P. da Palestrina" of Cagliari-
Italy and in Viola at the Conservatory of Music "G. Verdi" of Milan-Italy.
My professional activity led me to work in several orchestras as performer, and in various
music schools as upper- string and chamber music teacher.
I lived and worked in Italy, France, Germany, Spain, Portugal, and since 2012 I made
London my home, where I developed further teaching experience within the British
system.
I have also founded "The Geminiani Project" of which I am
the director and the leader of the Camerata Geminiani, ensemble that has been invited to
perform in England, Italy, Germany, France, Portugal, Denmark, and Sweden.
At the same time I have established my ensemble, I have also launched the Geminiani
Youth Orchestra (formed by young musicians aged 6 to 17 years old) as I believe in the
importance of giving an opportunity to young players to perform together, and the
amateur ensemble Hampton Chamber Orchestra; we performed with both orchestras at
various venues in London.
Regarding my teaching technique, I believe that each student is different and unique, so
the first thing I try to do is to establish a connection, then I try to understand the major
skills and major difficulties of the student in order to develop a personalised system; I pay
much importance also to the emotional aspect the student is dealing with in order to build
passion and love for music.
I strongly believe that, once achieved a technical skill, the student must have the chance to
play with the teacher and with other students, and feel the excitement of making music
together.
I have experience in preparing students for auditions, competitions, or ABRSM/Trinity
exams with excellent results; I love what I do and I love to see my pupils achieving high
level results.
Some of my students have been awarded at international competitions, some other former
students are covering leading roles in international orchestras or in chamber ensembles.

Playing the violin not only helps both children and adults to broaden their musical taste, but it also improves brain function, builds physical coordination, and serves as a powerful emotional outlet.
