This class is aimed at anyone looking to increase their English-speaking and listening skills. Depending on the student's interests, the focus will shift from vocabulary expansion and sentence structuring to "accent" reduction. My goal is to be a talking partner with whom you can engage in significant conversations about any topic you are interested in. Whether you are getting ready for a trip or a presentation or if you just want to make sure you do not forget what you already know, practice makes perfect and I want to try to help you achieve your goals. I will pay attention whenever you are speaking and point out the mistakes (or "funny-sounding" phrases) in a polite manner after you finish speaking. That way I will not cut you off or discourage you from not being afraid of making mistakes (which we all make).

Do you have trouble with mathematics (A, B, C or D), or do you want more support to get that higher grade? Then I can help you! My name is Max, master student at the TU Delft and I have been working as a tutor for over 6 years now. My aim is, in addition to teaching the teaching material, to jointly develop a way of tackling issues structurally. Many students indicate that they understand the material better and can apply it better as a result. With these tools you can go into a test or exam with more confidence and you will see that your grades improve. I tutor at all levels in the Delft and Zoetermeer area, both physically and online. Other subjects are also possible in consultation. I also have experience in tutoring students with ADHD/ADD, dyslexia and learning disabilities. References from former students are available if desired. Are you interested or do you want more information? Then respond to this ad!

I specialize in IBDP Economics HL/SL, Maths HL, Chemistry HL/SL and Physics HL/SL. I got my IB Diploma in May 2019. I can help with exam preparation, learning content, assignments, organization and time management skills. My tutoring aims to challenge the student, but not overwhelm them, and to first make sure their concepts are clear and that they understand the material. I can help them get rid of any misconceptions and doubts they may have. I feel like I would make a great tutor as I know my subject very well and am part of the latest IBDP graduating class as well, making my knowledge of the system very reliable and fresh. I am happy to provide periodic progress reports.
