I have afro in heels classes once a month in Lax studio and everyone who’s attended my classes has left with a new found confidence and basics that assists them in their goals.

About Me

I’m a young South African woman loving Paris for a little over 8 months, I came here for a fresh start and further my career in the dance industry. With regards to my classes I like to go with the flow and comfortability of the student, I allow you to move at your own pace and dictate your objectives. I really believe in natural flow, consistent practice and patience. I’m a soft spoken young woman and it’s one of my qualities, I treat others with respect and kindness. I love a good warm up so if you take my class you’ll experience a smooth way to do to that. I’m always on time and I’m always prepared.

Having a physical and mental outlet- such as a regular home yoga practice- is so important. During the first confinement in France, I turned my in-person yoga classes into online sessions. The virtual classes I teach have proven effective for my beginner, intermediate, and advanced students. I have also resumed teaching in-person yoga sessions and classes in Paris.

Yoga aligns your physical movement with your breath and increases physical strength and flexibility. Practicing yoga with a private teacher enables you to have the proper alignment for the postures, which ensures the most benefits. Yoga is great for people of all ages, shapes, and physical capabilities. Just a few of the many benefits of yoga include relaxation, relief of back discomfort, muscle tension, and stress.

Yoga teacher certified by Yoga Alliance 500 hours of which i had 200 hours of training in Yin Yoga with different teachers of which Michelle Finch who learnt Yin Yoga directly from Paul Grilley.
Yin yoga adresses the more yin part of our body, parts that are closest to our core (such as bones, joints, ligaments and tendons). These parts need to be worked in a yin way with an attitude of quiet acceptance. So poses in yin yoga are always holded for a long time (average 4 to 6 minutes). This helps to maintain the health of connective issues.
Yin yoga also works on our meridiens and thus help with increasing the flow of energy in our body.
Last but not least, it helps balance the Yin Yang aspects of ourselves and develop a mindful state for meditation practice.

This class is perfect for who, after work, needs to release the tensions of the day and to regain an inner balance. We start with a gentle warming, to find good flexibility. Then we continue with a small sequence of more dynamic vinyasa flow and we end with stretching and a little meditation. With a positive personal intention and the goal of staying in the present, trying together to balance thoughts and feelings through this practice. The session is accompanied by pleasant music.

I am a yoga teacher from Northern India. I teach Hatha yoga, Sivananda, kriyas (inner cleaning of the body), pranayama (breath control) and Dhyana (active and passive meditation) and mantra chanting. I run 200 hours teacher training courses in India since 4 years in my school in Goa Ek Omkar Yoga. Yoga is a great help for any difficulty encountered in existence. It regulates the body, the mood, allows to circulate the energy, to release the negative energies. It is a formidable tool at the service of health, physical and mental well-being and self-knowledge.

The harmony of body and mind taught at home with gentleness and kindness. I accompany you in your Yoga practice thanks to private lessons, tailor-made according to your needs / desires.

Classes (alone or in small groups) can take place:
- at your house
- outdoors if the weather permits
- by webcam

Example of a one-hour private lesson:
- Meeting, discussion on your expectations, your needs
- Breathing (pranayama), and relaxation to reconnect with your body and anchor yourself in the present moment (5 min)
- Warm-up - Gentle stretch and sun salutations. (10 minutes)
- Sequence of postures (asanas) according to your level and the type of yoga chosen (40 min)
In Hatha, the sequences are softer, with moments of
relaxation.
In Ashtanga Vinyasa, we try to be in a flow, a movement
perpetual fixed on the breath.
- Final relaxation to integrate the benefits of the practice, and reconnect one last time to your breath and your body before closing the practice. (5 min)

In a group, the course is built in the same way, but taking into account the level of each one.

Number of sessions recommended: 1 to 3 sessions to discover, 5 to 6 to start feeling the benefits of yoga.

The most beneficial is long-term follow-up, one class per week or every two weeks, for faster results on your body and mind. Regular monitoring allows me to even better guide you in the development of your practice.

This course is intended for beginners as well as for people who have already practiced yoga. The pedagogy that I propose takes into account the possibilities of each one. Anyone can do yoga, at all ages, whether you are a man or a woman, and regardless of your physical condition. No need to be flexible or a super athletic (believe me, when I started yoga I was so stiff that I didn't touch the ground with my hands while leaning forward)!

Yoga is not about performance. It allows you to find a beautiful body / mind harmony, to improve posture, to soften and strengthen the muscles, to release tension. We work according to the possibilities of our own body at the time of the practice.

Through the practice of asanas (yoga postures), we will go together on the path of physical well-being, and towards better control of the mind.
