About Me

An Italian-Argentine singer and accordionist, Pablo Contestabile has been living in Paris for about twenty years and shares his knowledge with rigor, sensitivity, and passion. He teaches singing and accordion, adapting to each student's background and aspirations.

Education

An Argentinian actor and musician, he began his theatrical training with Guillermo Angelelli, a disciple of Eugenio Barba in Argentina; Jos Houben, Norman Taylor, Carlo Boso, Haim Isaacs, Tapa Sudana, Mas Soegeng, and Patricia Jaïs in France; and Philippe Gaulier and the members of the Théâtre de Complicité in London. He co-founded Théâtre Organic with Sophie Gazel in 2000 and organizes the annual International Actor Training Festival in Buenos Aires and France. He performs with various theater companies in France, Spain, Switzerland, and Argentina, and teaches theater with a particular focus on all practices involving the body and voice.
As an actor-musician, he plays in the latest creations of the Théâtre Organic: "Ils ne mouraient plus..." by Daniel Dalmaroni-Sophie Gazel, "Music-Hall" by Jean-Luc Lagarce, "Le Monte Dumbée" by Harold Pinter and "Le Langage des Cravates" by Sophie Gazel.

I am a professional lyric soprano graduated from the CNSM of Lyon.
I participate in productions with the Concert d'Astrée, the Choir of Namur, Accentus, the Opéra National de Lorraine, Choir de la Chapelle Harmonique. I am also on the lists of the Montpellier Opera, Concert Spirituel, Ensemble Correspondances and Radio France choir.

As an opera singer, I have had the opportunity to perform on international stages while continuing to teach, which is a true vocation for me.

In vocal pedagogy, I believe that each student is the bearer of a unique instrument: their voice. This is why it is essential to adapt teaching and methodological tools to the individuality of each student.
