About Me
I am a Psychology tutor with teaching experience across London sixth form schools, colleges, university settings, and an international school in Spain. I am deeply passionate about psychology and about helping young people not only achieve high academic outcomes, but also grow in confidence, curiosity, and self-understanding.
Beyond teaching, my interests include yoga, cinema, positive psychology, hypnotherapy, and travel—I have travelled extensively around the world. These experiences enrich my teaching, allowing me to bring broader perspectives, cultural awareness, and real-life examples into psychology, making the subject both meaningful and inspiring for students.
My teaching approach blends active learning, metacognition, and highly personalised support. I focus on inquiry-based learning, drawing on techniques such as the Socratic method and problem-based learning to develop critical thinking and genuine conceptual understanding. I regularly use tools like argument mapping and growth mindset strategies to help students structure ideas clearly, think analytically, and approach challenges with confidence.
I also integrate technology thoughtfully into my teaching, including AI and interactive platforms, to tailor learning, increase engagement, and support independent thinking. Real-world relevance and strong tutor–student relationships are central to my practice, as motivation and self-efficacy are key to long-term success.
