The type of course I teach aims at clarifying the difficulties related to the comprehension and production of philosophical texts. "How should I approach this philosophical problem or text? "In what philosophical and historical context does this issue/problem fit?" "Which texts should I read?" "How should I read them?""How should I organise the information to communicate philosophical ideas?" are some of the questions I can help you solve. I specialise in Wittgenstein later philosophy and in Ordinary Language Philosophy.

It is true that the philosopher is the friend of wisdom, but above all, he is someone who does not want to make mistakes in reasoning. Philosophizing is a way of reasoning and a way of solving problems that will never have a perfect and definitive solution. Knowing the distance between the Earth and the Moon is not a problem of philosophy, because it is enough to measure to solve it. On the other hand, knowing, for example, what justice is, is a problem of philosophy. A meter will not be able to help us know the answer. We must go about it differently, and in the courses I offer, I will teach you how.

You will learn

- text reading strategies
- case studies with the aim of learning from experts
- methodology in philosophy
- writing an essay
- writing a text commentary
- a work on the philosophers of your choice
- an overview of the history of philosophy
- the general culture necessary to be able to philosophize

I will adapt to your individual needs. Each course is tailor-made. We will analyze where your difficulties lie and together develop a course program that will make you perform as quickly as possible. The basic principle of the courses I offer is dialectics, like Plato's dialogues: reflecting together, making theoretical contributions, asking questions and seeking answers, and testing the validity of reasoning.

For the past 10 years, I have been teaching German using the philosophy methodology, having studied philosophy at the Master's level at Aix-Marseille University. It turns out that the analytical mind is very useful even outside the confines of philosophy. Today, there are even fields of activity such as management with philosophy or philotherapy. In recent years, some German students have asked me to also teach them philosophy courses, and that is why I decided to offer philosophy courses directly.

I look forward to meeting you during a first lesson.

Learn history and philosophy through clear, structured, and personalized lessons.

I help students understand historical events, important thinkers, philosophical ideas, and the connections between politics, society, culture, and everyday life.

Lessons can include:

Ancient, medieval, modern, and contemporary history
European and Italian history
History of ideas and political thought
Greek philosophy
Medieval and modern philosophy
Kant, Hegel, Marx, Nietzsche, and other major philosophers
Support for school assignments, exams, and oral presentations
Reading and explanation of historical and philosophical texts

My method is based on simple explanations, timelines, maps, images, short texts, and guided discussion. The goal is not only to memorize dates and names, but to understand why events happened and how ideas developed.

Lessons are adapted to the student’s age, level, school programme, and personal interests. I can teach in Italian and provide support in English or Russian.

Philosophy isn't just about memorizing authors and dates; it's about learning to think, argue, and connect ideas. If you struggle to understand Plato or Kant, find yourself bored in class, or need to improve your grades for university entrance exams, I can help!

Welcome to a comprehensive, student-tailored approach to understanding philosophy and ethics. As a holder of a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy and a current Master's student in Applied Ethics, I help students navigate complex theoretical frameworks and apply critical thinking to real-world issues. With over five years of experience as a tutor in Poland, including time spent teaching directly in a school environment, I bring a strong pedagogical foundation to every session, ensuring abstract concepts are clear, structured, and practical.
In our lessons, we will cover a wide range of topics customized to your specific goals. We can dive into core philosophy and epistemology by exploring fundamental texts and primary sources, or break down ethical theories such as utilitarianism, deontology, and virtue ethics to see how they apply to modern life. We can also explore contemporary socio-political debates, bioethics, technology, and AI ethics, which happens to be a personal passion of mine, without losing sight of the broader philosophical discipline.
Beyond studying theoretical content, I place a strong emphasis on practical academic skills and critical thinking. Drawing from my background as a school teacher and private tutor, I focus on helping you evaluate complex viewpoints objectively, spot logical fallacies, structure philosophical papers, and refine your overall argumentation. Lessons are fully adaptable to your learning style and academic level, whether you are an absolute beginner looking for a clear introduction or an advanced student seeking in-depth feedback on your work.

With a master's degree in philosophy and experience as a teacher, I offer personalized courses to understand major philosophical concepts and effectively prepare for the baccalaureate exams.

Students will learn to analyze a topic precisely, formulate a problem statement, develop a well-reasoned argument, and engage with authors without simply reciting their notes. We will work on essay writing, text analysis, philosophical culture, and written and oral expression.

Each session is tailored to the student's level, difficulties, and objectives. Using concrete topics, texts, and their own work, I help them acquire a solid methodology, develop their critical thinking skills, and formulate their own thoughts with clarity and rigor.

The courses are aimed at high school students preparing for the baccalaureate, students following the HLP teaching as well as adults wishing to discover or deepen their knowledge of philosophy.

I invite you to discuss your objectives and challenges in order to develop a teaching method and techniques that meet your expectations. The course is based on dialogue and mutual trust: it depends on the subject matter being taught, but above all on your desires and goals.
For the past fifteen years, I have taught philosophy, history and political science in various contexts: at university, in high school, in adult education programs, and by giving private lessons to French speakers and non-French speakers.

In the three disciplines offered, my courses aim to enable you to acquire the essential knowledge and methods, and to develop your skills in an individualized way.

I would be happy to support you in preparing for the Baccalaureate, in philosophy and in HGGSP.

Philosophy is a fascinating but often difficult discipline to grasp. For this reason, it discourages many. Yet it is essential for understanding the world around us. Philosophy develops critical thinking and helps to better organize one's thoughts, while allowing each individual to gain a deeper understanding of themselves and to better analyze social issues. I offer courses tailored to your needs and objectives.

For high school students:
- Analysis of the texts discussed in class
- Explanation of the concepts used in your course
- Fundamentals of commentary and essay writing to succeed in the baccalaureate exam
- General knowledge to prepare you for higher education

For undergraduate students at university:
- Reading and analysis of key texts from the philosophical tradition
- Consolidation of the commentary and essay writing method
- Logic of the proposals: a return to the fundamentals
- History of philosophy: focus on a school of thought of your choice
- If needed, work on philosophical texts in English or Ancient Greek
- If needed, philosophical discussions on your favorite topics
- If needed, support in choosing a thesis topic for the master's degree

For adults wishing to discover the wonderful world of philosophy:
- Reading texts related to your interests
- History of philosophy courses covering the periods that interest you
Discussions combining cinema, literature and philosophy
- If needed, proofreading of your personal writings (additional cost)

In this course, you will acquire a solid philosophical foundation through the study of the great authors of the tradition: Plato, Aristotle, Hobbes, Locke, Kant, Nietzsche, and Marx, to name just a few. This course also aims to be an entry point to philosophy as it is practiced today; therefore, we will not hesitate to explore more contemporary texts from diverse traditions (feminism, political ecology, technocriticism, transhumanism, etc.). All of this is done with the same goal: to develop and enrich your thinking.

Package deals available for regular students.

What if human culture is not exclusively human?
Zooanthropology, or On Becoming Cultural with Non-human Animals is an introductory 10-lesson course exploring the relationship between humans and other animals and asking a fundamental question: how much of what we call “culture” has actually emerged through our relationships with other species?
The course offers a different perspective. Rather than considering culture an exclusively human achievement, zooanthropology understands it as something that has emerged through relationships, encounters and exchanges between species. Other animals are not simply objects of human knowledge or resources for human development: they are subjects who have influenced, shaped and transformed us.
This perspective invites us to reconsider our own position in the world and to question some deeply rooted assumptions about the supposed boundary between humans and other animals. It also encourages us to decentre our perspective and to become more attentive to forms of intelligence, communication, emotion, learning and relationship that do not seem to resemble our own.
The course is transdisciplinary, drawing on anthropology, philosophy, ethology and other fields. Along the way, you will encounter concepts such as intersubjectivity, epiphany, hybridisation and epimelesis, among many others. But don't be intimidated by the terminology! No previous knowledge of anthropology, philosophy, ethology or zooanthropology is required. What the course does require is curiosity, an interest in human–nonhuman animal relations, and a willingness to question some familiar ideas and look at the world from a less anthropocentric perspective.
Slides and a bibliography will be provided.
