Do you love Italian people, history, and food and you would like to speak the language? I am a CEDILS-certified Italian teacher born and raised in Florence, and I've also been a language student myself for a long time! If you want to be able to interact with Italians quickly, I can give you some tips about correct pronunciation, fundamental grammar, and vocabulary, but also Italian art and popular culture, which I think is fundamental to understanding the mentality and the country that you are going to interact with. Lessons will be tailored according to the student's needs, level, and mother language and focused on the conversation. I am also available to proofread your writings.

Everyone learns differently. That's why I teach the way you want. You decide what you want to learn and how, including when your lesson takes place and how long it lasts. I teach art history to anyone who wants to, regardless of age or level, online or at my home in Velp. You can learn about, among other things, the visual arts, music and literature from prehistory to the present. You can work towards an exam/test/training or just learn out of interest. Whether it concerns Michelangelo's David or the graffiti on the walls of Dubai, I'll be happy to tell you about it. Anything is possible. I am trained as a musician/writer and am a second-degree teacher. I have over 10 years of experience in education and have been teaching art history, music history, creative writing and other subjects at the senior level of a small secondary school for a number of years, where I am also a team member. I write teaching materials that are used at various schools in secondary and higher education. I have a lot of experience with innovative education and one-on-one teaching. Everyone who engages with politics (which is to say, everyone) has an ideology. But not everyone is conscious of- let alone consistent in their ideology. In fact, most people’s conscious politics are nothing more than an inconsistent aesthetic. But anyone who has a world they long to see owes it to themselves to at least be self aware of their own ideology, and they should probably also familiarize themselves with others as well. I can help on both fronts. This 10-session class serves as an introduction to the concept of political ideology. We will begin with a brief overview to various major academic theories of ideology, before moving on to a taxonomical survey of different ideological genuses and families, both “thick-centered” ideologies, that is, ideologies with a comprehensive core specific enough that they can stand on their own as it were, such as liberalism, conservatism, socialism, and fascism, and “thin centered” ideologies, which have much broader and hence much less specific cores, and hence must attach themselves to other thick centered host ideologies in order to fully manifest themselves, such as populism, nationalism, feminism, and ecologism.

This course is designed to be flexible. I adapt to your tastes and desires. I have a bachelor's degree in art history and am currently pursuing a master's degree. I offer this course to teach you a reliable cultural foundation. This can focus on a specific period, a movement, a medium, or be very general. The goal is to enrich your culture and satisfy your curiosity. For children, I offer a discovery course which aims to awaken the sense of art, while having fun.

Italian is the language of literature, of bel canto, and the language of one of the most beautiful countries in the world. In my course we will start with the linguistic and phonetic basics to then advance to more complex writings. You will practice speaking and correct pronunciation, to then arrive at written exercises, which you will also have to do at home to better assimilate the contents.

This class offers personalized instruction in philosophical and/or sociological theory, suited both for students seeking academic support and for individuals with a general interest in a philosophical topic. Sessions are designed according to the student’s goals, whether it’s clarifying course material, preparing written assignments, or exploring theoretical texts independently. I am currently completing a Master of Arts in Philosophy. My areas of specialization include ancient philosophy, early modern philosophy, and phenomenology. I also hold a background in sociology, which allows me to offer interdisciplinary approaches to social theory and critical thought. Sessions can be focused on specific authors or movements (e.g. Plato, Spinoza, feminist theory), or organized thematically around concepts such as love, beauty, perception, or subjectivity. The goal is to foster rigorous but accessible understanding, with attention to both conceptual clarity and historical context.

Assisting with structure, referencing, possible sources to include, and checking spelling and grammar I'm currently undertaking a PhD in Global Environmental Politics at the University of Lincoln (UK) but based in Amsterdam. I have previously completed an MSc in Environmental Policy at the London School of Economics (LSE, UK) and a BA in Philosophy at the University of Bristol (UK). I have extensive experience teaching Bachelors students on Politics and International Relations modules, including running workshops on essay writing, setting and marking essays, and providing constructive feedback for improved essay writing. A look at a dozen of so case examples, to include Korea, Guatemala, Iran, Cuba, Chile, the Congo, Indonesia, Vietnam, Chile, Nicaragua, and Honduras, of the consequences of the Cold War. A look at modern events from Iran, the migration crisis, Cuba, Venezuela, Russian and Ukraine through the lens of the Cold War never having ended.
