Since 2016, I have been an Instrumental Music Instructor for all ages and levels.
Some of my students are taking music lessons as a hobby, others working towards exams/competitions and preparing for entry exams at Universities and Conservatoires.
I believe that being a music teacher is a great responsibility as the teacher can have a huge impact on the students’ musical development and their general growth as an individual.
With my students, I aspire to create a comfortable and engaging learning environment where they can ask questions, improve and achieve their full potential
I believe that every student is unique, therefore I am adaptable and flexible to each ones needs.
I think patience and support are essential so I do everything in my power to provide help and support every step of the way.
The discipline of the Conservatoire and the new techniques I have been taught have improved my musicianship greatly, and I am very eager to pass on this knowledge to other players.

Experience / Qualifications

I have recently completed the Postgraduate course at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland where I have studied with Maya Iwabuchi, leader of the Royal Scottish National Orchestra. I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in RCS with Katie Hull, assistant concertmaster of the Scottish Opera, as my principal tutor. I had the opportunity to receive masterclasses from teachers around the world such as Joseph Swensen(USA), Lutsia Impragimova (UK), Simon James (USA), Leland Chen(UK),Dmitri Sheinkman(Russia/Israel), Dimitris Handrakis (Greece), Simos Papanas (Greece),Mikis Michaelides(Greece) and Matheos Kariolou (Austria).

From a young age I have been a member of various orchestras in Cyprus, Scotland and France including Mediterranean youth Orchestra, RCS Symphony Orchestra, Cyprus Youth Symphony Orchestra, which I have played from many positions such as concertmaster, assistant concertmaster and principal second violin.

Recent solo performances include playing with Mozart violin concerto no. 5 with the Cyprus Youth Symphony Orchestra and Saint Saens’ Havanaise op.83. with Cyprus Symphony Orchestra.

Having taught the violin for 20 years and knowing in depth different instrumental techniques and different teaching methods, I can adapt my teaching to the needs, age and character of each student. Hoi! Ik ben Jaime, een Spaanse klarinettist en componist uit Madrid, en ik woon en werk momenteel in Amsterdam. Ik heb mijn bachelor en master aan het Conservatorium van Amsterdam cum laude afgerond.

Als klarinettist speel ik regelmatig bij verschillende Nederlandse toporkesten, waaronder het Koninklijk Concertgebouworkest, Rotterdams Philharmonisch Orkest, Nederlands Philharmonisch Orkest, Radio Filharmonisch Orkest en het Nederlands Blazers Ensemble. Ook heb ik gespeeld op internationale festivals en academies.

Maar het allerleukste aan muziek vind ik het delen ervan met anderen! Daarom geef ik met veel plezier klarinetles aan zowel beginners als gevorderde spelers.

Hello !

My name is Camille, I'm 26 years old and I grew up in France, where I completed my violin training with soloist Marie Cantagrill. I then obtained my Bachelor's degree at the University of Arts in Graz (Austria), and I also studied for a year at the Academy of Music in Krakow with Professor Wojciech Koprowski.

Currently, I am continuing my studies in violin pedagogy (IGP – instrumental and vocal pedagogy) at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (MDW).

Thanks to my experience with teachers from various countries, I have acquired a lot of knowledge in pedagogy, study techniques, musicality, etc., which I would love to share with you!

For me, it is essential to cultivate the pleasure of playing and to work on technique in the service of music.

I have been teaching adult beginners and intermediates to play the violin and viola for 10 years. The focus is very different. One person would like to find relaxation in playing the violin. Another would like to be able to play a certain piece because he likes it. A third has picked up the violin again after a long time.

I have had violin lessons for > 10 years and am currently studying viola at the Conservatory of Bolzano. I have 10 years of teaching experience.
