I currently work as a professional musician, performing/recording violin and piano for various ensembles and different styles on a regular basis including various musicals and operas, and have worked with artists including Broadcast 2000, Josh Groban, Ed Sheeran, and Rick Wakeman.

As well as my performance experience, I have previously worked as an instrumental teacher at a number of music academies and schools, as well as instrumental teaching.
I also work as musical director and music facilitator for Trinity Theatre and run community singing sessions in Tunbridge Wells and currently run music & baby sensory sessions for ages 0-5 years for a new company where as well as singing to the children and their carers I would also give an instrumental demonstration.

My name is Daniela, and I am a cross-over violist from Costa Rica. I moved to the Netherlands in 2020 to pursue my studies at Codarts Conservatory in Rotterdam, where I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Classical Music (Viola). I am currently continuing my journey at Codarts with a Master's degree in Latin Music.

During my time in the Netherlands, I have been part of a wide range of musical projects across different genres — from classical orchestras and chamber music to pop, jazz, and world music collaborations. I've performed with ensembles such as the Jong Metropole and recorded with various pop, jazz, and fusion bands. I am also the bandleader of my own Latin project, La Reunión, and work as a freelance musician with diverse musical groups.

This is not a casual lesson. It is a structured professional assessment for students who practise regularly but do not fully understand why their playing still does not sound free, stable, expressive or convincing.
