My name is Dean and I am an experienced music tutor based in Maastricht, The Netherlands.
I have many years of experience working as a music teacher in the UK where I worked with children and adults. Both those who wish to have music as a hobby and those preparing for exams, auditions, and performances.
During my bachelor studies in music at the University of Manchester, I conducted research into the relationship between music performance anxiety and pedagogy and this research has enabled me to create a safe learning environment for my students.

I aim to tailor my lessons to the your specific needs and goals: learning music as a hobby, preparing for exams or performances.
I aim to create engaging content and use a wide range of learning resources and styles when teaching music theory.
I have experience of teaching classical, musical theatre, and popular singing.
As a performer, I regularly sing in the choruses of Opera Zuid, Nederlandse Reisopera, Consensus Vocalis, and Theater Aachen. In the season 2021-2022, I was a member of NKK NXT: the talent development programme of the Nederlands Kamerkoor. I also work frequently as a concert soloist.

My name is Egita and I am a professional singer and vocal teacher. I began my musical studies in Riga, Latvia at the age of 9.
In 2006 I completed studies as a choral conductor and entered Jazeps Vitols Latvian Academy of music in classical singing and teaching department.
In 2010 I achieved bachelor in classical singing and also a professional qualification as a singing teacher.
In same year I started my voice studies in Conservatorium Maastricht with prof. Axel Everaert.
In 2014 I finished Master in Classical singing and Master in Opera singing.
During my studies in Riga, Latvia, I have worked as a singing teacher in Vidzemes Jurmalas music and art school, as well teached private students.
Also when I came to Maastricht, during my development as a professional singer, I kept teaching singing.
I regularly participate in various courses, masterclasses and festivals, and I have an active performance schedule.

Hey! I give private piano lessons for kids and adults in Maastricht. I offer piano lessons based on the individual program from the level, personal interests, and aspirations. Therefore teaching methods and materials will always be chosen in consultation with the student. I have worked in music schools with children and I have taught private lessons for 5 years dealing with people of all ages. To stay organized and cover all the essentials, I like to split the lesson in parts, depending on your skill level of course. In a lesson of one hour we can cover theoretical music skills, breath work, reed exercises, etudes and technical exercises and pieces. We can also play duos together!
Because I have a lot of experience making reeds, I can make and adjust your reeds to your maximal comfort.
