About Me
My name is Girts and I’m guitar player, band leader, composer and arranger.
I’m coming from Latvia, but currently I’m living in Maastricht and I’m studying in Conservatorium Maastricht.
I have more then 10 year experience in teaching music.
In Latvia I was working as a jazz/pop guitar and arranging teacher, as well as an ensemble leader and rhythm group teacher for student big bands and small bands.
I’m able to teach music theory and music harmony as well.
Mosty I’m focusing on jazz and blues, but I’m very open minded for other music styles as well - as pop and rock.
